I'm so glad I decided to read this series. I already said multiple times that Chiharu is nuts, seriously troubled, but now I got the why too. Of course there must have been a reason and I half expected it. Well, I think most of yaoi manga readers aren't surprised by it, its such a common thing.
When the conflict occured in Kemono wa Ai de, Iyasareru I thought that Chiharu was a fool for not talking things through with Kazuki, but if he would have answered his questions and explained the situation I think the outcome would have been different. Not by much, but

thinking about it, I prefer the story developing the way it did. Although I think Chiharu is a fool for not talking to Kazuki openly, it would have been uncharacteristic, we know very well by now that Chiharu is not the best at communicating.
Overall I enjoyed Kemono wa Ai de, Iyasareru although I did postpone reading it because the main couple in this was Chiharu and Kazuki. However, while reading it, they started to grow on me. The more I get familiar with the characters and find out things about both of them, the more I like them.
Chiharu is still unhinged, but I kind of like how Kazuki can rein him in so easily. For someone who is so terrifying to everyone else, I like how Kazuki is so comfortable with him.
I still can't get over the fangirling, though.
EXTRA CH
The extra chapter of Kemono wa Ai de, Iyasareru felt like foretelling whatever is going to happen next for Kaoru and Daigo. Or maybe I'm overthinking it since I like them and was glad to get a glimpse of them again. Guess I'll have to keep on reading and find out.
