So, Saihate no Paladin is a manga adaptation based on a novel of the same name.
I haven't actually read the novel so my review is not gonna be based on how good of an adaptation this manga is.
The world of Saihate no Paladin is basically a Japanese version of Narnia but instead of a monster culture mix we get a religion culture mix. There are various Greco-roman, Hindu and Christian references/influences with Sinto Buddhist morality as a wrapping.
This is more than enough to make this manga rank way above your average Isekai already.
But this is not all. An actual interesting story in
a Isekai? This has to be the first one.
Not your typical generic characters? Check too.
This is a case of manga that everyone should at least try. The chance of enjoying it is really high.
On the cons the art is nothing special and the story progresses slowly so far( but i don't know if the second one is necessarily bad).
As a general rule, Isekais tend to get really bad over time so who knows, maybe the same will happen here.
The first 14 chapters are SOLID, So just do it
