You see, Japanese bondage isn't as simple as you think of it. Kinbaku-bi (緊縛美) literally means "the beauty of tight binding" is a style of bondage which involves tying a person up using simple yet visually intricate patterns, usually with several pieces of thin rope.

Well, let me tell you that it's all about those A E S T H E T I C S. The aesthetics of the bound person's position is important: in particular, Japanese bondage is distinguished by its use of specific katas (forms) and aesthetic rules. Sometimes, asymmetric and often intentionally uncomfortable positions are employed. so yeah... first thing first... raw version/japanese version already Ended for now. and that have some amazing ending (i wouldn't explain why, its spoiler XD)
because of that i think I MUST write this review...

You know what... some people on the MAL always rate something that good is bad, and something that normal they make that "hype" i dont know why, but western country people always do that when they see anime/manga/east product....

Now Come to The review
If you see, this Tsumi to kai have UN-Normal story, which is ... some kind of "Femdom" + BDSM (you can search that on google if you dont understand). i think this 2 formula is quite rare on manga nowdays, and also i think some manga that have a good art + story and enyoyment like this is rare. so because of that, i rate 10/10

Why?
Art is 8/10, everything is normal, i think manga on 2020 should have this kind of art or more, you know... nowdays there a lot of manga drawing software so i think the current art is good enough
Character 9/10, i think the good side of this manga is on the character, they have a some unique characteristic on every character, so yeah... you will be easily to remember and know what character, and what personality they have.
Next Enjoyment 10/10, i think for this market (BDSM+Femdom+some romance+Small amount of school life) this manga is the winner (pls tell me if you have better manga than this). because they have quite good art, and character which make you didn't boring at all...
And for story 10/10. on the first chapter like... 1-20 the story i think still create some "introduction" for all the character, so you will know what and why they all do that. but after that, the story goes dark, and dark, until ending.

that's my opinion about this manga, i think for now, no rival for the story and enjoyment of this genre. but maybe soon we will have some manga like this too...

Why this manga have bad rating on MAL?
Yeah... as you see, a lot of anime and manga that have good quality and good story, they ended by rated bad by the people.
i dont know why but western country people seems that they doesn't like some scene or chapter, they will rate it bad for general... so yeah.... because this forum using english, and i bet there are a lot of western people, i think this things will continue for the future....

but trust me... this manga is good :)

sorry for my bad english. in my country, english is not used, so yeah i try my best to write this review

If you go into this manga expecting a thoughtful exploration of BDSM, you're going to walk away disappointed. The author isn't especially involved in the subculture, so what's depicted in the story is mostly surface level at best. At worst, it can be problematic and unflattering.

Likewise, anyone looking for a romance story isn't going to find much of one here. Surprisingly, the topic of love only comes up rarely and mostly towards the end, and it isn't especially deep or complex either.

People looking for a smutty ecchi manga will similarly be disappointed. If you're already interested in bondage, you might get some enjoyment ... out of the situations presented here, but the content is pretty tame and restrained overall. Yes, there are some more extreme scenes, but they're few and far between. And the art style itself is fine, but you will notice the occasional error that signifies a more amateur work, which this is. That's not meant to be a knock against the creator, because we all have to start somewhere. But these things do stand out.

So what's left? It's a drama, plain and simple. You'll see multiple "love" triangles. You'll see scandals. You'll see misconceptions born from a lack of communication. It's the kind of story that tries to give the class bully a redemption arc just to keep him from fading into the background.

If you know what you're getting into, you may very well find enjoyment in this manga. Personally, I thought it could have gone a little farther, a little deeper. It'd be worth following the author to see what else they come up with, though.

If you guys like reading manga you MUST read this manga.

First MC-Kun (i don't want to give you name or another thing in this manga because it would be not fun agan if you read after you see this review).
Back to the topic, the MC-Kun have a normal background like other standart manga or anime related. but the different and unique of this manga is on the Girl that i call in here as Heroine-Chan.

That ... two character is core and built that story of this manga.
You will feel depressed as MC-Kun have when the background told in the manga and you will feel the crazyness of the Heroine-Chan, that use MC-Kun as her toy with BDSM.

Not only that. You will feel that the character surround this two main character is have unique and contributed to the story. Like people surround the MC-Kun Treat MC-Kun and from that other character appear to support the story.

If you thing this manga will same like other seinen manga that have girl, boy, and some ecchi on it... that wrong!

i think that's it my review for this manga

The series is still not fully translated to English so I feel like, despite it being very good in some parts (and incredibly lacking in others), it will remain more or less underground. But after reading the 59 chapters, I must say that its quite an unique piece of manga.

The art is very good. You won't find incredibly detailed backgrounds nor things like that, but the proportions are always very well kept, the emotions are always incredibly well shown and the female characters are suggestive in a relatively tasteful way.

The story is... all over the place. I won't go onto the details as of ... /why/ its like that as I would spoil everything, but basically, things escalate uncontrollably, situations don't really make sense and a bunch of issues are left unresolved by the end. If you just "turn your brain off" and never question "what" or "why" or "what the fuck did the police just forget about everything??" then the story is quite interesting.

The MC is a bland self insert, but that's nothing new in manga. Compared to the average bland self insert, the MC of this story at least has some kinks and guts, so its not terrible. All of the other characters are relatively well crafted, particularly the female MC.

In the end, this story feels like it was just made along the way while the original intent was just to display some nice bondage scenes. There's no way for me to say that this is good, but it also wasn't bad. On the contrary, I really enjoyed reading it and I was incredibly engaged.

Should you read this? It definitely is an engaging story, the art is super nice and it covers a relatively niche area. If youre looking for something similar to this plot, its not like you have much to choose from. And what you can choose isn't bad, so we cant complain.

I think that this story was licensed by an English publisher so that may be why the fansubs stopped. In any case, make sure that you can either get a hold of the last 2 volumes in English or that you can read Japanese.

So, you might be seeing that sub-seven score and think that this manga isn't even worth touching. When I first saw the score, I wanted to ignore it as well. But as a huge fan of the psychological genre, I couldn't pass down that tag and I went in. To be honest? I was very pleasantly surprised.

To put it simply, based upon the cover, you kinda might already know what kind of territory this manga going into. If not, lemme explain it in four letters: BDSM.
If that sort of thing doesn't interest you, you might not get as much enjoyment as you think. But even ... though the concept is what pulled me in, there were a lot of other things that impressed me.

Being that I'm trying to make it as spoiler-free as possible, I'll give you some important things that definitely stood out to me here:

- Without a doubt, the psychological element. It's definitely the highlight of this manga without a doubt. In a psychological manga, that sort of element is key, allowing the reader to question lots of things whether it be morality, the way our minds work, etc. I won't explain the depths the manga goes into, but 23 chapters in, it's definitely satisfactory.
- The art is really great. The character designs are super appealing, and everyone looks really nice! And if you're wondering about 'those' scenes, that's where the artwork is actually at it's best a lot of the time. So if that's your kink, you won't be disappointed at all.
- Character development is great even if it's still happening. I really like the interactions between the two main leads though, they're definitely interesting without a doubt. The side characters right now are decent too, I especially like Aoi (a girl character with a larger role later on) a lot as well!

Most of all, even if you're not into BDSM, the elements of this manga are good enough to keep you super engaged. I know it feels weird to give this manga a near-perfect score not even 30 chapters in, but it's something that definitely went far above any of my expectations. This isn't a manga that purely relies on the kinks presented, it's much more than that and I highly recommend it!!

The art style is good, better than most high rating manga on MAL, but it's not a sweat and armit detailed masterpiece. As of the plot itself, it could be better.

This manga depict very well the relationship between rigger and hope bunny - dom and sub. You can experience the sexual discovery, humiliation, pleasure and deep bonding beetween the two protagonists. So if you're not ready to commit fully, don't read it, it can be a lot to process.

Although, the plot seems to focus more in the male protagonist journey (POV) and you can really see only his development. The female protagonist stay more ... in a yandere sex psycho insensitive role (she has an interesting personality tho). The character and arch development is the worst problem of the series. It's like they didn't care much about it and just wanted something to fill up the space for the bondage.

It keeps everything in a surface level. You get teased about the details but it's never worked on. The feeling i got is that it has potential to be a lot better but missed the shot.

However, the psychological aspect (and the lewd) is the highlight of the series, you get teased to think and question life, morals, sexuality and pleasure. The story is interesting, you get hoocked , you laugh and cringe at the lines, the characters have personality and when it does the unexpected you scream and get surprised, and it can make you easily forget what the series lacks on, so i give it an 8/10 cause it could be better but it's not shitty.

So basically we have our MC here, Zen known to being the gloomiest because his parents are disappointed in him for failing his tests, he’s always bullied and he has a tendency to take shots of girls knickers. That all changed when he meets the prettiest girl in the school, Ayame. Ayame I turns out to be the ultimate femdom in this since she always likes to put him on the ropes and blackmails him if he ever does that petty crime of taking pics of girls underwear. Yeah I know…neither of them are angels but the thing is..the story was addicting despite them being ... unlikeable character’s (including the love rival herself, Aoi who’s goddamn annoying) and the art is good enough to draw your attention.

The first 10 Chapters are very harsh. Rape is prevalent in every chapter, and only after the stockholm syndrom starts kicking in, does the story start to pick up speed. If I wasn´t drunk reading it, I wouldn´t have made it past chapter 1. But I did and I enjoyed it.
The art is good. Nothing groundbraking, but definitly serving it´s purpose.
"The charaters are all assholes." quote: The author. I didn´t smypathise with a single character because they are all filled with problems.
It is intentional, but it´s still very offputting.
The plot however is truly groundbreaking. In my review to "the friend-eater game" I wrote, ... that the characters switch emotions way to fast. This story has a character go trhough following emotios (maybe spoiler?): I love you, I am worth nothing, i want to mutilate you,
Why don´t You love me?, crying, i´m so sorry, don´t worry about me, I love you and that´s why I will kill myself in your name, ties rope around her neck and comes to understand bondage, stops killing herself, let´s be freinds, crying and finally to i love you. All of this is in a single chapter (36)
The sheer amount of turns i simply couldn´t expect for the life of me, are exceptionel. If you want a surprising story with an antagonist that reminds me of johann liebert from monster, that still (mostly) makes sense this is for you.
Plese be aware that there is a lot of rape and bondage in this manga.
