Under the harsh landscape and competition of fantasy leveling mangas, there needs to be some sort of creative direction to truly engage the reader in the characters, plot, or world building. This, in particular, does none of those things; before easing this, I was bored out of my mind; after reading this, nothing has changed due to its lack of creative direction.
The only unique thing the manga can claim is the auto leveling system, however, that’s also a concept done before but rarely for a reason. Said reason is that it’s simply boring to read; unless the author dumps the information, battle scenes, and
...
etc. in an engaging or unique way, there’s not much happening in each chapter besides for the same script over and over again. The characters and humor are also typical for the genre, so there’s not much to say there.
Now if you don’t mind me, I’m going to wallow in my boredom and look for a manga that’s engaging, unlike this.
