Synopsis

Dooshik is in a bind. After making off with the takings from the gay bar where he worked, he seeks refuge in a small, coastal town. As his funds dwindle, he desperately needs a way to make ends meet. Still, a boy's gotta eat! So he dives into a clam house to satisfy his cravings. But with no money to pay, he dashes off leaving Jooha, the server, to foot the bill. Later on, when Dooshik returns to pay his debt, he's greeted by a sordid scene that offers a tantalizing glimpse of the solution to his money problems. For within Jooha's beautiful shell lies a secret treasure waiting to be drawn out. And Dooshik is just the man to do it.

okay, first things first, i REALLY liked this manhwa, i cried 3 times, i was really involved (my pfp is literally dooshik, the main character) and i really love the romance between jooha and dooshik, only it's not so innocent..

It's an amazing and unique story with a lot of steamy scenes. The artwork is absolutely stunning.
The characters are well-crafted, and there's some character development, though it could be more.
The funny moments at the start are fantastic! But as the story progresses, it becomes more intense.
There are some misunderstandings that make things stressful, but the communication between the characters is good, so it's not too nerve-wracking.

Pearl Boy is frustrating because it gave me blue balls and the ending pissed me the fuck off.

The last season is full of constant whiplash moments, it keeps getting darker and darker until it feels like you missed a chapter somewhere because how tf did we get to this point. Why is this a action series now, I thought this was a drama?

Great and unique story and lots of smut. The art is just drop-dead gorgeous.
Characters are well drawn and the character development is somewhat there.
The funny scenes at the beginning are everything! But the story doesn't stay that way.
The story gets pretty stressful due to the misunderstandings but I consider the communication between the characters to be great so it won't make you sweat a lot.
But I must say it is not for everyone, there are a lot of disturbing scenes. If you are looking for a fluffy, cute manhwa this is not it.
