Since there isn't a single review for this extra chapter, I'll go ahead and write the first one.

This story takes place between the Shuichi's parents arc and the Everything goes to shit arc, with the tornados and the town transforming. In many ways, it's similar to Remina. Shuichi, while stargazing with his telescope one night, discovers a whole galaxy, which is spiral shaped. He immediately tells a professor about his accomplishment. It turns out, anyone who stares at the galaxy gains the ability to read each others minds (that is anyone else who saw the galaxy as well). Since this is Uzumaki, of course, something ... has to go wrong. Those who are inflicted with this mind read effect, also gain a strong killing urge to murder the other person who communicated with them telepathically. That's pretty much it.

This reads like a dry-run for Hellstar Remina, and I wouldn't be surprised if it inspired the latter. Honestly, I prefer this to Remina--the basic premise (a person's identity becomes entwined with a destructive cosmic force, leading to a parody of celebrity/idol culture) is solid and very Ito, but the ideas here are more horrific and interesting.

I do think cutting it from Uzumaki proper was the right decision, since the cosmology of this piece doesn't really work with the explanation for what happens in the main manga.

Anyway, whether you read it on its own, as part of Uzumaki, or as a Remina prototype, ... this is a good vignette. The art is good as always and it's good apocalyptic fun.

Its literally what the title says, lost chapter. This chapter can fit perfectly into the series but apparently they didn't. From the art style, story weirdness, characters personality, its all the same. At first i thought they left out this chapter because its gonna feel out of place. If they decide to include this chapter, it would be 20 chapters total in the series instead of 19, so yeah i still can't find any reason why.

You should definitely read this if you haven't already. I reccomend checking out the original series first. This can work as a one shot for you to decide if you ... like it or not, but i don't think its gonna be fitting to put it like that. Because you just gonna get confused of what on earth happening here. That's all i can say about this chapter. Thank you for reading my review.
