| I was watching this with my hg and it was actually such a fun adventure. I don't think the themes in it were strong, nor the story was strong, but wow. Recently alot of shows and mangas I watch are heavy on plot and character but this was a breathe of fresh air. This is just a pure adventure and a love letter to how humanity are inherently kind people. I've forgotten this feeling of a blissful fun childish adventure in a hot minute. I would rate this better than your name. It gives me the same adventure vibes as Mushoku Tensei S1 Cour 2, im just in love. If ya'll have any other recommendations of just pure happy vibes and adventures, please recommend them to me. The closest feeling I got from this movie was Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete/ Sing a Bit of Harmony |

| @LiSu8279 THANKS FOR THE RECOMMENDATIONS! Dororo is a good show but it's more dark adventure than light adventure which is what im trying to find. To your eternity is great I love it, although I feel like s2 was a bit slower :(, but S1 WAS GREATTT. Heard of spice and wolf heard they have a remake right, ill put that on the list. HOWEVER, I'll definitely watch legend of hei, it looks like fun!! |

| @Subxxxx1 Oh, fun fact I never watched a Ghibli film, the one I watched was Princess Mononoke but it was late night and I had to sleep and I told myself to finish it later but I never got around to do it and I see you recommened Totoro, might have to consider that, never did in my life until now. I'm definitely in the minority and I know it so. I found this movie boring at so many points during the movie. I caught myself trying desperately NOT to fall asleep at least 5 times. I appreciated the stunning visuals and music, but the story itself just did little for me.
| @Lackinginterest I don't think you're in the minority. Everyone I saw talking about this movie keeps saying it's just a worst version of weathering with you and your name. Don't worry about it. I mean you are right, I did say in my post the story wasn't strong, but if you see my bio, I basically rate from my feelings and not out of how good a story is.(although a good story usually correlates with a good feeling). If I was only rating story this would not even be close to a good show for me, probably a 6/10 and Haikyuu would most definitely be above blue lock but I value vibe/feeling above all lmao. |
