I think obviously in a perfect world you would always want it at the same time, but i dont think thats possible.

it's simply because the anime needs something to adapt

yep but there is way if oda don't releases chapter and and gave material to toei and then release together it'll be no problem I guess

If it ends together then it will be better for the anime community cuz of spoilers, but if it ends together then the manga pace will go down rapidly or it might even go on hiatus. As a manga reader Id prefer the manga to end first.

Yup and real.

Even if it's (probably) not the nicest thing, but the safest method for anime onlys would be to either just read the manga or to don't use (maybe even uninstalling) any kind of social media app, forum, etcetera + to don't have (an) asshole(s) as (a) friend(s) who could spoil you.

Even if it's (probably) not the nicest thing, but the safest method for anime onlys would be to either just read the manga or to don't use (maybe even uninstalling) any kind of social media app, forum, etcetera + to don't have (an) asshole(s) as (a) friend(s) who could spoil you.

that will be very very hard uninstalling social media no worries but also youtube and you need to cut off from internet fully for 2 years that is close to impossible because nowadays you can't do most stuff without internet so safe thing is read manga adapt it as early as you can and get used to it

I don't think it's in oda's hands probably

@MuditRaj Why not? Oda is the creative head of One Piece and one of the most famous mangaka, both Shueisha and Toei listen to him out of respect.

oh then oda should do this right ? but I think he'll avoid because one piece manga is real thing anime is just adaptation and another adaptation is also coming so manga will be priority for ending first it'll set records in manga sales and it'll make them most money

@MuditRaj Well, I started watching One Piece two months ago, so I haven't caught up with the anime yet. When I do, I'll probably switch to the manga because if I continue with just the anime, I'll spoil myself when the manga finishes. So, to answer your question, I'll probably switch to the manga when I catch up with the anime.

Advice:- Don't binge read the chapters read it daily like maximum 2 or 3 it will give you good experience then binging I can guarantee you 😃

You need to understand how this works.

Anime is AN ADAPTATION of the manga.

They adapt to the material AFTER its published. They can't START WORKING on the last episode before the chapter is PUBLISHED.

The anime and manga aren't going to end at the same time, why would that even happen? The manga will end (eventually) and anime-only fans will have to deal with spoilers, that's just how it is.

because people are watching anime like from 25 years and then in last they got spoiled from manga ending do that sounds fair to you !?

Almost everyone/every fan in japan (like probably AT LEAST over 90%) reads the manga.

So japanese fans can't get spoiled when One Piece ends.

I've mentioned this because normally, in most cases, japanese fans are the priority of the authors, publishers, and anime studios. 🤷‍♀️

Even if Oda himself would say something about this and/or would try to do something about this, he doesn't have much say (even if he's rich af and One Piece is very successful to date) because he's still contracted to Shueisha and still has to follow the rules.

It is what it is.
