I agree, this would have hit hard if they did this in the anime, interesting they decided not to. I do like there is some differences between the manga and anime though, gives each their own variety. Btw, for anyone who’s read the LN, which follows closer, the anime or the manga?

| Wow, compared to the episode this is a close one, it showed a false reality in Rudeus' mind, and even him fainting after imagining Paul's dead body on top of Zenith's vegetable state body, hopefully this goes by faster so the manga catches up and even passes the anime but with this speed, idk if that will happen |
