So, I was going through a list of all filler arcs and tbh, it feels like there is so much potential like what are some unique things fans want to see? Fan letter showed us how good direction can shape a story in the best possible ways. It can do all sort of stuff people would want to see while making sure it doesn't create confusion or plothole or any other disruption for the main canon story. If we were to have 3-5 episodes OVAs (for longer side stories) and TV specials (for shorter 1 ep side stories) where we can see things that we may not be canonical able to experience like strawhat fashion week cuz the original models suddenly resigned. There can be so many ideas. What ideas do you have for such side stories?

I think they will add some fun and interesting fillers in future when anime continue. Like, If anime just continues without fillers, It will still have pacing issues after it catches up with the manga. So the best way is to have mid to solid fillers with good cannon story and amazing animation that covers both fillers and the main story.

sometimes yes but it depends on how the director wrote it. black clover had an acceptable 27 ep arc before the final season with consistent animation, which is unusual. However i think it's better to take special or side mangas/light novels in order to give a space for the original creator to release more sufficient chapters, their plot is already made and not far from the main story.

Yeah, tbh it would have been good if they added Ace's novel as a backstory when Marco went to visit Whitebeard's hometown cuz he must have visited the grave before meeting Nekomanshi and let's say he meets Ace's first mate from the spade Pirates and we got a 4 episode flashback or maybe even longer. Maybe they could have also given us Law's novel adaptation by using the "How far we have come" sort of clique flashback/backstory troupe and built up upon the hype for wano a bit more and maybe that could have improved the pacing of Wano by like 9 episodes.

@Subxxxx1 yeah that could have been some good choices to add. Or adapting some other novels/side mangas into movies.
