 The MF Bunko J Editorial Department Information session at the label's Summer School Festival 2023 event revealed the main staff, a special promo, and teaser visual (pictured) for the Gimai Seikatsu (Days with My Step Sister) television anime on Sunday. The anime series adapting Ghost Mikawa's romantic comedy light novel will broadcast in 2024.Staff Director: Takehiro Ueno (Sasaki to Miyano assistant director) Series Composition: Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) Character Design: Manabu Nii (Akiba Meido Sensou) Studio: Studio Deen The cast members from the light novel's YouTube video series are reprising their roles. Mikawa launched a YouTube channel for the series in April 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its MF Bunko J imprint in January 2021, featuring illustrations by Hiten. The eighth volume shipped on April 25, with the ninth volume scheduled for an August 25 release. Yumika Kanade began drawing a manga adaptation on the Shounen Ace Plus web magazine in July 2021. If I recall correctly, the romance only comes in at around volume 4? The greatest news here is that it is not adapted by Project No9. :D Now, will Roshidere will be adapted/mishandled by Project No9 or get a decent adaptation? |

Part of me thinks it is shoujo because it is set in a privileged high school. Part of me thinks it is a josei because it has very little anime tropes~ The upcoming Seinen demographic LN after Reign Of Seven Spellblades I can think of is Sasaki And Peeps. Seven Spellblades is a combination of Harry Potter, Made In Abyss and Berserk while Sasaki And Peeps is a combination of Index and 80000 gold~ The upcoming Josei demographic LN I can think of is Unnamed Memory. But most people are expecting it to have a bad adaptation. Other upcoming Josei LN is Modern Villainess. I have not read it yet but I heard it is about Japan economic crisis~ |
