Season 1 adapted first four arcs of the manga and that were 40 chapters. Considering the next 2 arcs cover exactly 40 chapters, what do you think how much will the season 2 of the anime going to adapt? Is it going to adapt only the 2.5D Stage Play arc that is of 26 chapters only or the next arc as well making 40 chapters to be adapted?
Please no manga spoilers

my guess the next 2 arcs, from chapter 41-80.
those two are prob the best arcs.
alternatively, they can go all out and do a 24 ep season and be fully caught up with the manga

they didn't provide us any data or statistics report regarding which year they're planning to launch season 2 if they choose to adapt Ch 41-80 then it'll be Broadcasting next year around Spring & if they choose to adapt enough material to cover 24 Ep's then we have to wait till next year's fall or Winter/Spring 2025

Studio Doga Kobo might adapt 30 to 40 chapters or 3-4 volumes. If this is the case, then Season will be released on Spring 2024.

if they're smart, they'll end it on chapter 79 as it will leave us with a massive cliffhanger. Most likely however, it'll end on chapter 80 to just finish off the volume.

It'll probably adapt the next two arcs, which has a total of 40 chapters. The ending of chapter 80 is a good setup for Season 3 if they're planning to make one.

Having just read it today, it'll 100% cover 41-80. It's the perfect cutoff for a 1 cour season with a major cliffhanger that sets up interest for the third season.

my guess is up to 68 because exactly 30 chapters after 68 is another great moment to stop for 98 the would make every season adapt around 30 chapters five or take excluding the prolouge which covered 11 chapters since it’s the length of 3 episodes

Assuming that the Tokyo Blade arc will be adapted as a movie(which doesn't seem likely), the Miyazaki, Main Story, and Scandal arcs could be adapted next, and then the current arc, the movie arc, can be adapted as, well, a movie. If Tokyo Blade is adapted as part of the series instead of as a movie, we could get 2 seasons before the movie arc, or a 24 episode second season. then the movie arc will come next.

I was thinking the same. It would be really good if they finish there.

It’ll be the same with 40 chapters. Chapter 80 is a pretty perfect place to end off a season.

You can't fit the whole Tokyo Blade Arc into a movie... that would be a long ass movie. Besides, season 2 has already been announced, and we are talking on the thread about it, so... why bring up movie?

Why do you think I said it's not likely? Tokyo Blade only has 26 chapters. Episode 1 was 82 minutes long adapting the first 10 chapters. If Tokyo Blade was going to be a movie, then it would probably be about 3 hours long. It could probably work as a movie, PROBABLY.

Again, what anime movie has ever been 3 hours? Not to lash out at you, I just found the thought of it absurd.

pretty sure its gonna be a 2 arc, the 2.5 D and private. the private arc is a nice arc to end and lead to the 3rd season. since *spoiler* theres a change of MC.

There are some with almost 3 hours and from popular shows like Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time with like 2.40 hours or  In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World that im currently remembering, but i dont see tokyo blade arc getting adapted as a movie unless they suddenly decide, anyway idc how they adapt it. What matters here is how good the adaptation will be.

Up to chapter 79 for the massive cliffhanger and the best way to introduce the 3rd season.

I think they might just do the stage play arc, which is only 24 chapters, it dependa if they do a 12 ep season or more. but still, they could show a lot of the stage play, and it could take a whole season if they wanna show of the stage play a lot.

I think the next 2 arcs would do great together in a single season so I wish they only do the stage arc nexr season.
