You could, but you would miss some things such as a character appearance that comes from the movie and more background of suguru getou so I would say watch it first.

Firstly, why would someone not watch it? In isolation, it's a pretty decent film with better animation than season 1. Secondly, the movie has plot points and characters that will be explicitly mentioned in season 2. Yes you need to watch it.

I did watch it. I'm just saying it's some past events that took place before the actual 1st season. I'm not wrong. They don't need to watch it before the second season unless they really want to. It's a nice movie and all though, I'll tell you that much :)

I would say watch it before the next season because the movie events affect the canon story and you'll see some of that in s2.

Season 2 will start with Hidden Inventory, the arc that comes right where season 1 left off. If you want to follow the real manga timeline, then you could watch the hidden inventory arc in anime (first few episodes of s2) until it's done, then do the movie and continue with the rest of the s2.

It's up to you. Just be sure to watch the movie when you can.

Movie give an impression of being completely disconnected from the rest of the series as if it was anime original.
It's protagonist did not appeared in TV series at all so far despise it being literally a prequel to the main story.
I'd say you can skip it, because it won't create any plot holes for you, but I still recommend it because it's a solid watch.

Nope you can't watch Season 2 without watching JJK 0. Unlike other anime movies, JJK 0 actually has important plot points that will be tackled later on the series. Characters that will be important moving forward. I read the manga without reading JJK 0 first and it left me confused on what's going on. So I definitely recommend watching the movie first.

Right, and depending on how FAR they get into the Shibuya arc, it may not cover Yuta since he doesn't appear until the very end. S1 ended on Chapter 63, which if you double for S2 means 126 chapters, and Yuta appears 137.

Then 'Yo, Satoru' scene would go bouncer.
Movie is cannon , one very important character dies in movie & that really important for the revelation in season 2.
Yuta is very important character for future arcs who may appear at the end of season 2 or the beginning of season 3.
what kind of question is that ,the other day someone made a thread for watching VS S2 first and then Watch S1.

Don't listen to the these people saying that it is not important.
You absolutely need to watch it otherwise you'll be thoroughly confused and will have a completely different (and wrong) understanding of the villain.
So yeah, PLEASE watch it!!
Here's the order if you need:
1.JJK Season 1
2.JJK 0 (The Movie)
