(Asking manga readers) Enough material for a second season?

I really love this anime, and honestly it’s one of my favourites this season!

I just wanted to ask the manga readers how likely it is that we’ll get a second season, since I’d be sad if this amazing series only got 12 eps adapted.

Either way, I’ll probably be picking up the manga later in the year when I have more time, but I just wanted to ask now!

according to Me the anime will adapt upto 60 chapters or so and we have 125 now so we could have a s2 but it'll take some time..

Probably not. The manga latest chapter is 122. Considering the anime is now reaching around chapter 50 and still has two episodes left. It's close to 60~70 chapters per season. At best, give it a year, and maybe there will be enough source material for a season two. But the anime industry is a tough one. Esentially making 12 episode promos for the manga.

I hope so … I really enjoyed this anime

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

there's close to enough for a second season, but the industry likes making 12 episode commercials for light novels/manga. honestly I recommend reading the manga if you're enjoying it. I binged it after last week's episode, there's a good amount of main story things that are skipped/condensed and a LOT of bonus chapters that are a few pages of little side events that aren't adapted

hey question, if I wanted to start the manga should I start from where the most recent ep left off or just start from the beginning.

Start from the beginning in between chapters are extras that are wholesome but don't affect the story. The anime adapted only a couple of them cuz there are alot

There's enough already, S1 will adapt 4 volumes, there are 8 volumes out already.

Well there is enough for a season 2. The anime will probably end on chapter 60ish and thare are currently 121 chapters out. Since its studio Shin Ei I believe a season 2 is possible in the next couple of years.

I'm pretty confident that there will be a second season. The manga is quite popular, it had already more than 4 million copies in print before the start of the anime, and it's from Shin'Ei Douga, the studio which also adapted Takagi-san into three seasons. There's more than enough material left for another 12 episode season, and the manga isn't finished yet. I expect a second season in a couple of years. If we're lucky, even in half a year or less.
