Dude literally blew his cover for her sake. That's caring enough. If you're gonna point out that he did it for his revenge no, he analysed the scenario and made the right move that would save Kana and then used that factor for his goal. He didn't use her.

no not kana i meant akane. i meant that he probably sees her than more than a tool. he broke off so she wouldn't be involved anymore. since its his revenge and only he should suffer from it. both he and akane knew that she was being used as a tool and he obviously considers kana a friend because of the other thing he did in 106.
