They've gone on record to say that the final arc wasn't intended to be split but was too much work, so they're splitting it to SAVE THE QUALITY. A little extra waiting is NOT gonna kill you. Every single one of these episodes is gonna have 100s of characters on svreen for basically the entire part, so chill out.

Not really. It’s equally as much content, just taking longer to do it now cause they took on too much work. I don’t mind the wait, but to say you’re getting “more” is just untrue in this case.

I wonder if there is even enough stuff for two full cours. Unless they just mean 2 parts (if the production issues are the reason this might be the case) ... that then are less than a full cour. (Meaning: Not fully 12-13 episoes per part.)

Wouldn't it be fun for the second half to have two episodes ... then split again in "final season final part final cour first episode" and the "final episode"? :D
