I have a feeling they'll make a mess of it. But I'll try to stay positive regardless. I believe this needs around 90-100 episodes to be a perfect adaptation. And for starters, idk if Liden Films would ever settle for so many episodes, and secondly they may not be able to keep the quality up for that long.

The director being somewhat inexperienced doesn't make things better either.

Since the anime's airtime on TV is in the late-night slot, I don't think it would be enough for the number of episodes to finish the original story.

I want 100% faithful. I want the Hiruma bros and their plot to take Kaoru's land. I want them visiting the Maekawa Dojo and discussing the state of Meiji Era swordsmanship. Of course, I want the Revenge Arc in all its bloody glory, nothing held back. RK fans deserve this.

We're all praying man... they have to remake it right and adapt the whole thing in the episode count that it deserves, we need this manga fully covered it's about damn time
