There is so much going on between chapters 140 and 160, that they can't skip so much content. The festival arc is the main objective of this season and, considering this season will run for 12 ( or 13 episodes, allegedly ), they can't cover so much content. However, considering the success of this franchise, it is higlhly probable that it will receive a fourth season. This and SAO are A1-Pictures' biggest productions this time around. I'm sure it will get a new season. But I'll have to wait for a long time to watch it animated. I swore I wont read manga for this series (i know about the chapter 160,because a friend spoiled it to me). So in a way, it makes me sad. |
| The season is called Ultra Romantic because it ends with the Ultra Romantic Ending. Ice Kaguya never was on the table since the very beginning of it. Since its the opposite of the season's title which was the whole point of the arc in the manga. There are 8 episodes and 25-28 chapters at most left with only chapter 92 skipped so far in S3. Few episodes with OP/ED skips are enough to adapt everything without real skips if its 8 in the best case scenario. Which is more likely as they didnt even cut down stuff like 97 or 105, which didnt need full adaptions in 3 chapter episodes. Nagisa stuff was always the first to go in cuts. |

Kinda an odd choice and Anime Onlies will be probably confused why the chapter tiles are Part 2 and Part 3 for now without Part 1. But i guess they simply wanted 112 instead of 114 in the next episode for better episode progression or maybe time it closer to the Kaguya chapters later. Lets see. |

| Episode 7: 115, 116, 118. 117 was in Episode 1, so as expected. 112 still skipped, but i still believe it'll happen. Not too happy, they are keeping the 3 chapters pacing while skipping stuff like 112. They had some good opportunities for 3.5 chapter episodes without the need to skip an entire chapter. Lets see what they'll do with the 2nd half. |
