I checked that the latest chapter is 27 and it's on the boji kage reunion scene. So are they making or building the story themselves or there is some LN for this? Because on MAL, it's source is showing manga

The manga has like 100+ chapters
And they already announced a part 2 for the manga

Specifically theres 182 chapters as of today and part one of the manga ends at 155, which im guessing where the anime would end on

I think you checked the translated chapters,the manga wasn't translated before and it started publishing english translated manga when the anime started. So, that's why it seems the manga is behind the anime. The original manga has over 150+ chapters.
