In the episode 4, we see Johngalli A firing shots at Jotaro and Jolyne from a window but how is this is possible since it was a dream?
In the episode 8 (episode 7, my bad), Emporio tells Jolyne that Ermes brought McQueen back to life with a disk of Whitesnake Stand and then shows the two discs of him. That means she took back the disk from him and that he's dead? How can Emporio have 2 disks when Ermes only gave him one.

For the episode 4 thing, just because it was in the dream doesn’t mean it can’t happen in real life, they mention that whitesnake intentionally showed them Johngalli As stand so they they would be off guard when whitesnake attacked and if I remember right the line about them bringing McQueen back and showing the new discs was an anime addition and not in the original manga

Thank you for the answer, that's about right concerning episode 4. For episode 7, that doesn't make sense at all for me.

If anyone else has an explanation for episode 7, please give it to me.

it’s been a while since I read part 6, but I’m pretty sure that the disc emporio has with him leads to a big spoiler, that is if my memory is correct.

Alright well first of all, correct your first post to say episode 7 and not 8 cause I had to go through a few of them to find where it is. Luckily I remembered it was at the beginning of some episode, but in the future give a timestamp or something.

Secondly, McQueen did try to kill himself, and succeeded (with some help from Ermes). Inserting the disks, however, brought him back to life, supporting Jolyne's theory that Jotaro will be brought back to life if one of his disks is reinserted.

When Ermes was in the hospital ward in prison is when we first meet McQueen, as he steals money from Ermes. She manages to use her newfound ability to knock him out and steal his memory disk. You should remember this. Then she discovers where he hides all the money and confronts him bla-bla. After defeating him, she then takes his stand disk.

Yeah, my bad. Thanks for the detailed answer but I still don't understand. In episode 6, Ermes meets Emporio and gives him McQueen Stand disk. So if she takes back his memory disk after reviving him, and considering he already lost his Stand one, is it implied McQueen is on the same lethargic state than Jotaro? In the very beginning of episode 7, Emporio shows the 2 disks to Jolyne. Losing the 2 disks means being in a lethargic state. Even if we don't see McQueen anymore and he's isn't important, is it implied he's in a lethargic state for now?

After seeing the beginning of episode 7 again, Emporio tells Jolyne he'll insert his memory disk back to him later. So that seems to confirm he's in the same state than Jotaro.

In episode 7, Emporio shows 2 disks to Jolyne, confirming what you wrote. That just doesn't make any sense. Losing the 2 disks means being dead or in lethargic state. Even if we don't see McQueen anymore, is it implied he's 'out'?

Well, we have to keep in mind that when Jotaro's disks were taken and he was shot, he was still able to walk and talk normally (let's put aside the fact that he was mortally wounded).

So we can conclude from this that taking both disks out of someone doesn't kill them, but putting one back revives them (as tested on McQueen).

So what I think is that McQueen is alive and well (revived by Ermes upon her re-inserting the memory disk) although currently without a stand and without his memory disk.

Now, a simple search on the jojo's bizarre wiki will tell you all about McQueen and disks. I read some of it and didn't encounter any spoilers but I didn't read the whole thing, only the part I was curious about.

It says that a person without their stand disk will collapse into a near-death state, but this begs another question. What if you're McQueen, a person without a stand, and have a stand forced on you through a disk. Would removing said disk also put you in a near-death state? I don't know.

It wouldn't make sense if that was the case. Either way, McQueen without a stand can safely be assumed to be "out", as normal people usually are. Whether he's in a lethargic state, I'm not sure. But that's because I'm unsure of how removing disks affects people exactly.

Once again, big thanks to you! It helped me a lot.
