Naruto is technically over. We still see Naruto in Boruto. But Naruto's generation doesn't have as much focus as Boruto's generation. It carries the storyline of Kaguya over from where Naruto Shippuden left off. But it's a completely different setting since the shinobi war is at peace and it's becoming more advanced technologically.
