You can miss out some important points about other storylines such as the momoshiki one.I just need for Isshiki stuff. I watched Baryon mode episode the next one (tearing up). Just thought a little backstory would put things in context.Don't expend too much time tho

Isshiki bought kawaki as a child and made him go through a bunch of abusive stuff after implanting the karma on him. Then eventually, isshiki is betrayed by two of his own crew leading to 1.) kawakis escape and 2.) forcing him out of his current vessel (one is actually a clone of Jirayah but we don’t know too much about their reasons yet) then one of those two (not the jiraya clone) comes the leaf to tell naruto that he’s been trying to kill isshiki the whole time and now is the best time to strike because kawakis karma was removed by them weakening him or something. If they kill isshiki now he wouldn’t have a vessel to come back to life and he only has 2 days to live so they just need to hold out that long. So naruto, sasuke, and boruto transport isshiki somewhere else once he pulls up to the village looking for kawaki with Borutos jutsu while keeping kawaki hidden at the village to keep him away from isshiki. Isshiki destroys naruto and sasuke with ease and that’s when baryon mode comes into play. Issiki transports kawaki to him because he can trace his chakra through his prosthetic arm and you know the rest.

Why are people just watching the newer ones, watch the rest of the anime too. Don’t got to be all just the anime and manga cannon episodes

If you need to ruin a series to just see a fight that is worthless on its own, just watch it.
If not get a filler guide and watch naruto, shippuden and boruto.
Ishiki fight is far from the best in the series, not even top 20. You are in for a treat, and the shows are small without fillers, like a third at max.
