When this anime was announced I looked at the PV and thought "Nah it's not for me, I'm not even going to waste my time" but I ended up giving up and in the first episode I was already enchanted with the story that only gets better, I even bought the manga, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

As a grown ass man, this show made me cry multiple times. Taught me a thing or two about being nice to people and working hard a what I want to do in life. The theatre setting is just a bonus, being an actor myself. Also Tall girl supremacy *heart eyes*

Easily the best anime this season. The focus on the characters, their problems, and goals is just so well done.

This anime is so much more than that. There is a reason for those misandrist views and there is hope for growth and understanding. It's depicted realistically. Besides, I am not even sure I'd call her the main lead. The other characters in the show get plenty of screen time and they have their own stories.

Kageki shoujo is really underrated, when I saw the PV I knew I would like it since I’m a big fan of theatre, but I didn’t think It would be this good. Characters and story may seem simple, but the way it has been executed has been amazing, So far I love it and hope we get to see more.
