How is Black Clover going to end on March 30 and it’s confirmed to be 170 episodes?

So why will it take 50 days to animate 5 episodes? Is it not going to be an Episode each Week?

it’s still going , just ends on March 30th at 170. Hopefully gets a break with seasonal

I don't think it's gonna end at 170 bcos looking at the track record of the 40 episode Rule they've been using throughout the show I think they'll do another 20 episodes atleast mostly to end the plot on finishing the Yuno royalty Arc

I dun get what you are saying. It's february 9 today and march 30 is 49 days (7 weeks) from now. Episode 163 aired today so 1 episode per week from now till march 30 makes it 7 episodes total which comes to a total of 163+7=170 episodes.

Also this isn't the end of Black Clover. It's just a seasonal end. The manga is still ongoing so we'll get a new season when the manga has enough chapters.

They've started adapting 4 chapters per episode recently, so by the time they get to episode 170 they'll be around 7-10 chapters behind the manga. At that point, they can't go any further.

Honestly I would have been good if black clover relased spring 2021 bcos atleast the season would have been longer-term
I would be so dissapointed if they do 5 fillers and 1 main jsut to keep up their track record but it's better than nothing
Guess they don't want to end up with a Naruto

I'm kinda glad they're finally gonna take a bit of a break from airing Black Clover: they've been working on the show for years with little to no gaps between arcs. Should give them breathing room to make the dark triad arc even better.

Definitely a better option than loading up on tons of awful filler like Bleach and Naruto.

I agree. Black Clover certainly had it's fair share of filler episodes as it is. Should slow down the pacing of the main story too, so hopefully less filler when it comes back :)
