I don't get why there isn't a completely different entry for the Re:Zero Director's Cut, and even if it doesn't get one in the future, why is it linked to Season 2?
I understand it's not that different from the original (A few changes here and there) but it's its own thing, at least in my opinion.

The last 4 minutes are perfectly linked to the beginning of the second season...after those minutes very important things will happen so is understandable that they linked it with the second season.
Ushiromiya Battler, right now, on this island, no one exists except for you. You're the only one alive in this island. However I'm here right now, and i'm about to kill you. Who... am I?

It is not given an entry because the amount of changes in the DC are very little, such as few cosmetic differences and pauses in conversations.

Whitefox studios skipped out on animating some really interesting story/world-building related scenes that many looked forward to: such as Subaru's carriage ride with Aldebaran and Priscilla, and Aldebaran's rather angry/confused reaction upon hearing Rem's identity, moments after Subaru's failed negotiation with Priscilla. You may check out the manga/wn/ln versions if you haven't already, to know what I am hinting at.

According the MAL's admins it would mess up the listings for viewer convenience, as they had made the same mistake earlier with Psycho Pass which also had its director's cut version with minor differences. From now on, any directors cut changes will be linked in an article with additional information provided in one of the tabs of the listing itself.

The only real change was the last episode which now forms a wonderful segue into Season 2.

I thought I was actually starting to understand where this show is potentially going.

Then I read this conversation in the LN. Now I have no idea, like wtf is even going on? xD
As if we didn't have enough mysteries already. Lol. I hope season 2 makes some things clear.

Yeah, that would make sense. I suppose it was all content that could've went into the show. Aside from that nice starter to season 2, Makes me wonder if they'll recap it or
For those who know, you know what I'm talking about. Thanks for the answer.

Ikr? Unfortunately the wait revolving around this will get even longer...maybe in a season 3 or 4 (if at all that happens). I am only up to date with the general events from Arc 4 which S2 is supposed to cover. Those who read further ahead whatever translation of the WN is out there indicate that the above skipped matter has not been addressed just yet. There's just too many characters with their own agendas in the mix now.

Concerning Aldebaran, there's not much to speculate other than names of Subaru, Aldebaran and Betelguese being names of stars and I really don't know how to go ahead with this either, lol.

Don't forget the moment aldebaran also mentioned that himself from -redacted-, his rather weird response when subaru learn Anastasia speak kansai dialect, and the moment he show his face(pretty important buildup for another kingdom introduction for me)
