Funimation recently made a blu ray release though, so it is a sign there is still interested in it. Big problem is that the manga has not had any updates at since the anime ended, and the enime ends were the manga left off. So unfortunately a s2 is very unlikely at the moment without new source material. The manga has continued actually there are i believe 3 more volumes ? the thing is that there are no hero translators for this particular manga out there a really rare occurrence, but the "official" translations are still going on and the manga itself is also still going on. |

| The original manga finished a while ago, and the english licensed version finished recently. I imagine sales are good, but I don't think there's any insight from anyone what the total sales are so far. The first season ended on Volume 5. The last Volume is 11, so that's about 13-16 Episodes I guess. I kinda expect we'll hopefully get a full adaptation one day. I can't imagine the anime not being popular enough, and the manga is sold worldwide, so I bet there's enough profit business-wise for A-1 Pictures to continue. They've done several sequels and manga Adaptations, so I'd expect Demi-chan to come back the next or in 2025 would make the most sense. |
