Anime is really good, but the LN are fucking trash. It looks like the author took some crack and started writing the novels. The LN makes the anime look bad but good thing they won’t make that in season 2 or this would of turned to shit anime real quick.

Well since I made an account just TODAY I can't send a message lol. So here is a very quick summary (I pulled some stuff out of the link).

To everyone who is reading this i think we should all stop wanting for a season 2 of this anime,why??
Because its been i guess 6 yrs? Since this anime ended and i just seen a post saying Season 2 is closed(if you want to read it find it on page 4-6)
I mean sure someone could rewrite the LN or continue the events of the last episode with much better adventures and randomness like season 1 but come on guys,its been 6 yrs with all of us wanting a season 2 of this anime and yet there is still no season 2 but ifthere is a chance EVEN IF its only a small one,i hope they make a season 2 but you know what i wont stop fighting WE WANT A SEASON 2 OF THIS ANIME!!! AND WE WONT STOP UNTIL WE GET A SEASON 2

Just Kidding seriously i dont really know if i should give up or not but its just so hard to move on after watching it many timesand i think its a 50-50 chance if i should give up or not since this anime is good and also because there is no season 2 after six years so i think ill stop here

People keep saying they want season 2, then if they gonna make season 2 following the LN, they'll only regret it, it's better to not have a 2nd season, unless the author changes the story.

the ending of s1 is very satisfying nd I love it... But still I want more of it.... It is always like this , the good animes like this only have one or two Seasons and finishes with satisfying but not complete ending.... I hate it tho... I don't want them ruin the series by making a shit s2, if that's the case I am happy F there is no s2... The story is soo good to waste like that..

Rewatching has always bored me, but for whatever reason this anime makes me want to rewatch it a million times over again. The plot is great and all the characters are unique in their own way. Nanami (best girl my opinion sorry Shiina) is in my opinion the one with the most rotten luck and it makes me feel bad for her. There are no actual cons about this anime and despite that it’s really underrated and dead, which makes me more than just sad.. I personally really hope for a season 2 because I seriously can’t find a reason why they wouldn’t make a season 2. The light novel sold with over a 850,000 copies and the project sakurasou the anime had shortly after that started. I couldn’t find anything about how good or bad the blue-ray sold but I’m pretty sure it did well since the story was a big succes. Compared to the light novel the anime is way easier to understand and I personally think the anime adaption was NOT a sin because of that. JC staff, I wish wish wish your staff and yourself would read every review and message, I’m truly grateful :)

i finished watching this a while ago, and i think everyone wants a season 2 because it litterly has a cliff hanger ;-; It's really annoying when something has a cliff hanger, so that's the reason? Its good too. EVERYONE WANTS A SEASON 2!!!

I would love to see and 2nd season, but I'm pessimistic. Even though I love this show so much (rewatched it multiple times), I believe that I need to accept that there won't be any sequel for this, unless there's miracle in J.C. Staff.

This is an old thread but nevertheless, I suggest reading a summary of the remaining LN's, please keep in mind that this will totally change your viewpoint on each character. The author really screwed the ending of the LN's so much that I actually think the reason no studio has tried to make a season 2 is because they might risk getting hate from it. Keep in mind reading the summary of the last LN's will ruin each characters development so much that you would have wished you did not read the summary.

The ending of Season 1 was fitting for me, it left us knowing that each character was still gonna try hard and pursue their dream. It does need some sort of closure but with how the LN turned out, its best to leave it as it is.

Tl;DR LN ending is trash so a Season 2 should and will not probably happen.

I am absolutely in the same situation as you.
But the end of the story in the light novel is just catastrophic.
If they do a season 2 (and I hope so) I pray that they don't follow the light novel...

Please make a season 2...
I still feel so bad to have finished the anime while I have seen it so many times...
