| This is late but Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records is pretty great. It has so many common trope but it was executed very well. Its a magic school anime with the protagonist being a substitute teacher. I know, it sounds like something you have heard before but the review doesn't lie. |

So the English 2B and 9S did a reading of the Nier Concert. Spoilers inside for anyone who hasn't finished the game. It's surprisingly really good for a cold read. Kyle McCarley is definitely rising to be one of my favorite English VAs. A lot of the revelations in the concert are pretty mind blowing. |

| Ok, I'm gonna come out and say it. .hack//G.U. was the absolute best action RPG in the entirety of the PS2 library. To this day, I haven't played a single game with a combat that satisfied as much as this game's. Nothing gets me pumped like G.U.'s Rengeki combos. They're like the EMIYA theme in gameplay format. And i know that this almost has a 0% chance of ever happening, but i hope they consider bringing .hack//LINK to PC. That game was pure fanservice for .hack fans. Haseo's Cross Rengeki was pretty hilarious first time i saw it. I'm also EXTREMELY happy that they said this release is meant to reboot and revive the franchise and that another .hack game is in development. RIGHT!!!!???? ...ahem. But yeah, i hope they add dual audio to truly make this the definitive version. |

| I remember years ago reading through the first SAO novel while it was still being translated on bakatsuki, and suffering from withdrawal when I reached the end that I decided to go through the .Hack franchise in chronological order to get my VRMMO fix. AI Buster was a pretty good novel. Anyways, the games were definitely the most memorable part. Especially the IMOQ games, those are very underrated. I'd love a remaster for the PS4. |

Actually, now that i think about it, when i first played G.U. i disliked Shino since we go through so much because of Haseo's affection for her, but her pre-Tri-Edge lines, and ESPECIALLY if you've watched .hack//Roots, you know that she only likes Ovan. It was like waiting for the inevitable obvious heartbreak to happen. Me me me. Followed by Pi for teh lols and Atoli because she's second best girl. I kinda wanted more focus on Alkaid too TBH. We get to see little of her in the game. That little is pretty good overall, but she ends up pretty flat as a character as a result. Also lol @ "I'll make you happy." "kay." Best tomboy. |

| A hilarious review. It spoils one story element from the last third of the game, but it more than deserves a watch IMO. Speaking of Nier Automata, I kinda hate what this game has done to me. I LOVE IT, but I had to take break from it after I finished it and read Taro's prologue and epilogue from the concert booklet because... let's say it "affected me emotionally" to the point that i can't touch or hear about it for some time. It's so bad for me right now that i just noticed that the video @KingOfSherous posted above is from Kyle McCarley's (the voice of 9S) channel. I couldn't even click on it. I don't even feel i can talk about it yet. Anyway, Kyle McCarley (the voice of 9S) and Kira Buckland (the voice of 2B) play through the entirety of Nier Automata on Kyle's YT channel. They even got Yoko Taro himself for commentary in one of the videos. I can't wait to watch this... later, though. |
.hack//G.U. Last Recode coming west [NA & Europe] for PlayStation 4 (physically and digitally) and PC via Steam in late 2017. Confirmed DUAL AUDIO. The new screenshoots and the newly rendered cutscenes are looking really sharp compared to the PS2. Looks like they didn't just upres them too, I can see an overlayed sharpening filter. That's a good way to deal with the game's blurry textures and I'd have forced it with an external Injector anyway. Although, I'd have preferred if they used higher resolution textures, but I'd understand if they didn't have all the raw assets of the game or the time and money to do this kind of overhaul to an EmotionEngine-optimized game..
