Hi guys! I just got done watching season 2 of Yahari but I am not sure I take its meaning so I hope someone will help me:
1) why is Yukino so troubled in this season and what is the reason of growing distance between her and Hachiman?
2) Regarding last 2 ep: what decision does Yukino have to take?
Yui says: "I know how to solve the problem you're facing right now"...but what is her problem?
"When I win, I'll take it all"...that is?

1. Yukimom and the fact that she is a shit tier character. Nah but seriously, her way of doing things don't match Hachiman.

2. Probably regarding Yukimom and family drama.

Yui declaring war against Yukishit to take Hachiman.

Of course Iroha will win anyways.

Also, read the goddamn LNs and it will answer most of the plot holes in the anime (it is also 3000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than the adaption lmao).

I agree mostly with what hoopla said.

1. Becoz she is a drama queen. It's quite explained in the anime, becoz of her family issues mainly. I also thought that she shut herself more than ever and people liked her more vulnerable side in s2.

2. Yui wants to win so she can ask Hikki to go out with her
Yui knows that Yukinon really really wants the trio to stay together, and so Yui asks her if it's okay to do that
Thus, this makes Yui really unfair and deceiving since she knows Yukinon won't be able to say "no" to her
When Yukinon is about to say "yes" (really her only option), Hikki steps in since he notices Yukinon being unable to speak for herself

Abt her problem, it's abt family drama.

Read the LN since for more understanding of this.

Yukino can't resist her desire for hachiman so she decided to keep a distance from him.
The last two episode is all about growing jealousy in the love triangle, both yui and yukino got feelings for hachiman but he acted like a gay and wants their relation remain the same as it was :3

Good luck with that. The series is licensed by YenTrash. And I don't think he can read the original, Japanese version.

Iroha is not a bullshit, she's just having a second thought because of her past. She ended up doing all the things herself and just as Hachiman helped her, she fell in love with Hachiman still holding back not to say it. It just ended in a weird way not breaking the status quo, and as Yukinon's sister said, they were a bunch of boring people as they can't say what's on their mind straight unlike on S1.

she confessed to the blond guy and got rejected, her love for Hachiman is but a love of a rejected material..so it's worthless :P
does anyone knows who is the girl that the blond guy loves..? is it Yukinon's sister or Yukinon..?

The problem with Yukino is this; She is clinically certified as someone suffered from PTSD, Down Syndrome and general retardation all roll into one.

Hachiman's problem is he wants a harem. That of course, doesn't sit well with Yukino's PTSD and felt betrayed. Therefore, like all high school girls, she ignored him, threw a tantrum like a teenager experiencing her first PMS.

It's simple, stop being a stupid and indecisive teenage girl and start throwing her panties to Hachiman's face.

Yui just want sound prophetic at this point cause you know, she is born stupid. Otherwise, nobody will take her seriously.

It's Yukinon's sister, I'm sure of it
that's what I thought.
another question, at the start of the 13th ep, when 8man and Yui were about to go home, Yokino was nervous for some reason and she acted like she didn't want them to go. do you know what's that about..? because I didn't completly understand the whole thing :/

LOL @ some of these responses.

Yes Yukino is retarded. I liked her in season 1 but grew to dislike her later on. And I'm not gonna lie, I didn't understand all of what went down in season 2. It was so confusing sometimes. Like the characters (primarly Yukino) would go on long, drawn-out tirade about love clichés which made no freaking sense... It was like watching Ergo Proxy but with love clichés lol

Sorry, I had to rewatch the start of episode 13.

We knew that Yui want to break the status quo between the three of them and she had the most evident feelings for Hachiman, Yukino already had feelings for Hachiman and holding back because she likes the way the three of them used to be, and of course, Hachiman already had a hint but didn't want to take the first step making them all three in a stalemate.

Yukino wanted to give the cookies to Hachiman but hesitated since Yui was there and probably because of her feelings for Hachiman, and when Yui saw that cookies, she tried to go home but Yukino looked at her and stopped. Yui walking out first probably a symbolism of her backing down in the love triangle between them. Yukino looking at her making Yui stopped at her attempt looked like she didn't want to break the friendship between the three of them. Yukino probably thinking that if Yui went home, the three of them will not be as it used to be. If you see, Hachiman looked away, running away from their current situation not taking the first step. It's just my opinion but Hachiman is useless if he is directly involved in a misunderstanding.

1.Well she's troubled throughout the season over 8man's way of doing things. She hates that self sacrifice that he does, probably cuz she doesn't believe it to be the most optimal way of doing things.

2.We don't know for sure what the decision is, but it's likely concerning her parents in some way.
What you gotta understand is that Yukinon doesn't know who she is at all.

She can't make any decision on her own and is completely dependent on someone. First it was probably Haruno, then Hayato and now it's 8man, which is evident when she repeated his advice word for word to Haruno while they were in Yui's room. She basically has no willpower. And because of that she wants to go against her parents wishes but doesn't know how because she's never done anything of her own accord.

also this ^^^^^.

You get a better picture of Yukinon in the LN with all the subtle details being laid out. Plus the LN has more Iroha moments.

Thank you for all your answers :).
Is there a specific moment when Yukino realizes that she's got feelings for Hachiman or did it happen quietly?

Probably when Hachiman bawled his eyes out.
