Soren said:Okay this wagon on Shinichi is growing and needs to stop right now because he is my first actual town read of the game. I was co-host of a recent game that Shinichi was in where he was scum, so I have a direct scum meta of him and there are parallels to be drawn from his play in that game to his play in this game that is making me town read him right now.
So let me show what scum!Shinichi's day 1 play was like in this other game. He mostly posted filler commentary that added almost nothing to the game.
Exhibit #1 - Comment does nothing to progress the game
Exhibit #2 - More filler commentary
Exhibit #3 - The lack of any actual content continues
Exhibit #4 - Pointless action speculation
Exhibit #5 - Wifom talk and laughs at a meme pic
As we can see, all of these posts shows me nothing about shinichi thinking about the game, just commentary to make him appear present in the game but not actually solving anything. There's more posts and I can keep going but I think that's enough for now.
Now let take a look at the posts that Shinichi is making in this game that draws a contrast to his day 1 scum!meta.
#10 - Here Shinichi is giving his honest thought on what he thinks is wrong with my approach. While I don't exactly agree with him that I should slow it down, I understand Shinichi as a player that when he has his independent thought
and displays that in the game, no matter how odd I find it to be, it is an a strong indication of his towniness and him standing firm with his belief and thoughts about the game.
#14 - I like this post and I will explain this with another one of his post.
#25 - The first line of his posts is an reinforcement of his view found in his #10 where he says that past role does not affect this game's role. I like this because it shows Shinichi holding a belief and standing firm with it. I also like the second part of his post, because it is him having an issue with something and pointing it out. Both of these things were not present in his scum game.
#26 - This is the post that links to post #14, this is another example of Shinichi having a belief and him standing firm on it.
#28 - Here he elaborates his point further to further defend his position. I like the firmness that Shinichi is showing, it is a trait that I commonly find in town!Shinichi games but is lacking in his scum games.
#33 - Another post of him defending his position.
#35 - Continues to point out his displeasantry of karote's vote, showing a genuine concern over it.
To sum up, Shinichi is town because this is the complete opposite of his scum meta, he presents his beliefs and stands firm on them and displays townie mindset where he expresses his displeasantry towards karote.
So unless @Bee-boy, @Karote or @Verumir actually have some kind of reason for scum reading Shinichi, you need to unvote him and pick another lynch target.
Additionally, I have very minor town reads on Bee-boy, Karote and Verumir for being on the Shinichi wagon. Bee-boy's vote was an early sheep/additional pressure in which I don't see scum intention as of yet, Karote and Verumir followed with a nonchalant sheep which
for now I am seeing as rather townie because wagons provide useful information if
done right, thereby meaning that their sheep vote is a pro town move. Furthermore, since I am town reading Shinichi, and with a wagon already forming on him, I think that scum would play it safe and stay away from the wagon as there is no need to join a wagon that is already building up on itself, it only makes them look bad for simply sheeping it.
Now onto my first scum read on the game, that would be greenwillow. Here's why:
#17 - Her first post in the game and there is no rvs. She makes IIoA (information instead of analysis), expresses her interest in Shuuka's vote, thinking that there is something suspicious with it and also role fishes Gwen's role.
#19 - This is the first of many posts that green makes that I am finding particularly faked. It is the questions that she asks. This empty question of why bee boy is sheeping my vote leads to almost nowhere in terms of discerning his alignment.
#32 - Here green ridicules Shuuka again of her "not-so-random" vote, thereby applying pressure to her. Which at this point I can see green plotting down a vote on, yet she does not commit to it.
#34 - Another empty question that again doesn't lead to working someone's alignment out.
#37 - Adding commentary to a discussion that isn't helping us catch mafia right now.
#40 - Easy questioning
#44 - Lacks conviction behind pressuring karote. Are you scum reading him or are you faking a scum read on him?
#46 - Easy question that isn't going to provide much.
#51 - Green yet again expresses that she is finding shuuka's "random" vote to be suspicious which shows enough of a reason at thsi stage of the game to vote shuuka yet isn't committing, pressuring nor voting Shuuka. Raising a concern but lacking the motivation to pressure more out of it is an indicative trait of scum alignment.
She's got more posts but they're just more of the same thing so I'll stop here. To summarize, green willow is scum for asking easy and empty questions that does not progress the game and for not committing to her suspicions on karote and shuuka, her lack of rvs vote and showing reasons to vote someone but doesn't only makes this look worse.
Vote: greenwillow
