| I hate yaoi because it's an overrated piece of shit that's completely destroyed my experience in fandom and just anime for me in general. I hate how misogynistic it is, I hate how good canon ships are always ignored for the sake of it, and I hate how obsessive some of the fangirls can get, to the point that it even affects them in real life. I also really hate how loud and obnoxious the yaoi fandom is. They think just because yaoi overpopulates the fandom, that it makes it completely okay to NOT FUCKING LABEL their yaoi fanwork properly when posting their shit. I've came across so many nasty surprises just because some of the fics I've read didn't have any warning signs or were put in the wrong sections, like in some of my favorite communities. x__x;; In short: I hate it both as a genre AND in fandom. Period. |

| It really ruins anime. Yaoi animes just don't have believable storylines. They're all about the yaoi romance, and have little else in them. I'll admit it. I'm a Yuri fan. Cause I'd rather see two girls making out than two guys. I mean really, didn't God destroy Sodom and Gamora cause they were full of Yaoi people? So if you don't you want to bring the wrath of God down on you, then don't watch Yaoi!!!, even if you're just curious!!! |

| Oh god, i could go on forever why i hate yaoi. for one, it does ruin anime. brothers are with brothers, two best friends - who are STRAIGHT are paired with each other and sometimes it can even lead to what is called pedophelia DX plus the yaoi fan girls are all so stupid :/ i really dont see how its hot. i really dont. its gross, its distrubing and it wrecks anime for me |

| So..I'm a girl, and it's not that I hate yaoi. I just hate the way their fan girls act which sorta makes me hate yaoi. I hate it when: 1. they bash decent female characters for no reason other than the fact that they get in the way of their ships, and they were born without dicks. An example of this would be Lenalee from D.Gray-man. Lenalee cries just as much as Allen, but she's the one who's bashed for it, and I'm sure they'd find Allen blushing for Lenalee much more appealing if she was a dude. Another example of this would be Elizabeth from Kuroshitsuji (the main character's fiance). 2. they paint shows (and the characters) as yaoi (or homo). Especially when it's a reverse harem or an anime adapted from a otome game (a perfect example of this would be that comment on Ouran High School Host club in the comment section :D) where the guys are guaranteed to like the main girl. If you want yaoi go find some. Don't go to shows in which the characters are canonically straight and somehow paint them that way. If a male character does not like guys then he probably thinks of him as a good friend. Face it. An example of this would be Naruto. Naruto has liked Sakura since he was a kid, peeps on girls in the public bath (probably because he likes breasts), and has recently held hands with Hinata. His friend (Sasuke), has gone to the dark side, and so he wants to save him. Yaoi fan girls interpret this as Naruto having homo lust for him. When he says in canon that it's because he thinks of him as a brother (the only family he's had). If you're not like this then we could be cool, but if you're not then please don't talk to me about your pairings. |

| I just don't like the fact people pair up people that are not gay.. I mean for example It's clear that Naruto likes Sakura, and clear as hell Sasuke does not love Naruto.. Like wtf!! Also another example, Sora and Riku (Kingdom Hearts) they both like Kairi. Light and L (Death Note). Sonic and Shadow, Yuri and Flynn (Tales of Vesperia) I could go on!!! None of these characters are like that. |

| Whenever I hear the word "Yaoi," I cringe. To be honest, I rarely hate things (I hate on things that are reasonable to hate). I usually think that something is good, so-so, or I'd have no feeling towards it. If I dislike something, I usually ignore it/block it and move on. BUT YAOI is EVERYWHERE. It's absolutely HARD TO IGNORE. Even if I didn't search for "yaoi" I still see it! I don't want to see two friends/brothers/enemies be paired up because that just ruins the story. It's different if the two actually had a romantic connection that even the AUTHOR claimed to be true. Now, I started off with just ~simply~ disliking it from being uncomfortable. So, I blocked the account on Instagram and reported the picture since the COmMUNiTY GuIDELiNES DOeSN'T ALLoW PoRnOgrAPHY (yet the fans get away with it). Then, I just kept seeing the yaoi everywhere as I started to grow irritated and strong hatred. Just ugh, this club really makes me happy, okay? I'm leaving it with that. |

| I don't hate yaoi just because it's yaoi... I mean, I'm like the straightest guy I know, so I'm not going to enjoy the stuff even if it's canon. But IF it's canon I don't hate on it, 'cause there's nothing wrong with being gay. What I hate most is the obnoxious fandom. And it doesn't go both ways. Yuri fans (myself included) are MUCH less vocal about randomly shipping two girls who are friends. We respect the friendship and the story. Obviously, if two girls are actually into each other, it's the most adorable thing ever ^_^ But I rarely see yuri fans dirtying up comment sections everywhere with their weird, super un-sexy, turn-off shipping like yaoi fans do. It makes it hard to just enjoy the STORY and the SUBSTANCE of the anime when yaoi fans are reducing these works of art down to "Lolz those two guys would be so kawaii together" :P This club needs more members... |

| I hate Yaoi mainly because of the fandom too, and Yaoi is in fact porn. Shounen-ai is the fluffy stuff and I don't like that either. I just don't see the entertainment in two guys kissing or anything like that... Including it's against my beliefs. The funny thing is I found a Yaoi fangirl that posted Yaoi porn on tumblr, then said it wasn't porn. lol people like them are idiots, just saying. Then they complain about guys for liking Hentai and Yuri, when they're really no different. I get called homophobic many times for not liking gay 2D porn, it's really silly. They need to quit masturbating for a second to realize there's a difference between Yaoi and homosexuals in real life. They are actually the real homophobes.. They use gays as tools for masturbation, and nothing more. That's not supporting the gay community either. I've heard of some fangirls getting mad because gays don't act anything like how the characters do in Yaoi manga. They have normal relationships, the same as heterosexuals. (And this is coming from a person that doesn't even support the LGBT tbh) but Yaoi is an insult to the gay community with the "seme" and "uke" thing. |

It's easier to understand if you have friends (or more often what you'd call acquaintances) who are either big on yaoi or yuri. Ignoring yaoi is something most people who aren't into it do. The problem, again, is the fandom. Yaoi fans are known, and not without reason, to be veeeery obnoxious about it. To the point where it can't be ignored because they're shoving the crap in your face. Two bros with an awesome bro relationship in your favorite anime? Trying to find some good pictures or related stories? Well, the yaoi fans are going to take up all the internet space with shipping pictures and poorly written yaoi fan novels. Not only that, but 99% of the time if you hop on over to a popular Youtube channel that has some yuri content on it, you'll find a couple yaoi fangirls in the comments asking for "moar boyz". Which is absurd, like what are you even doing on this video lol?? Contrasted with fans of yuri, the yuri fandom is less about the sexualization of two girls loving each other and more about the romance. This is very clear in yuri anime (not hentai mind you) and yuri-based games, which put a lot of importance on the romance and relationship and less on the "seme" and the "uke" sexual stuff as in yaoi. So when I think anti-yaoi, I don't think yaoi should be eradicated from the face of the planet, I could care less if it exists. But wow, the yaoi fandom really needs to just chill! Anyway, my whole point is just to clarify where most of the people in this group are coming from. | I also think that yaoi is sick as hell ("sick" in a disgusting way). It portrays homosexual boys as masochistic rapists or naive and innocent whores and these fujoshis actually believe that actual gays are like that IRL. It also promotes false stereotypes, pedophila and sexual abuse in a way. It's not healthy or sexy and I don't understand WHY THE HELL these immature fujoshis are interested in trash like this. Liking yaoi doesn't make you a special snowflake, it just makes you a perverted weeaboo and a pedophilia supporter. Most of time, people who are anti-yaoi respect gays more than fujoshis. In contrast to "shounen-ai" which is all of the fluffy stuff. I dislike that also, because I would be watching a good anime and these weeaboos would shove stupid ships of two straight guys kissing in my face and criticize me if I disagree and it's so damn annoying. | im a girl and i have absolutely nothing against same sex love. i support it 100%. that's not a question for me. but that doesn't mean i want to read stories focused on gay love. i've seen good movies about this scenario, yes. but this is different. for example, i've heard no.6 is a good anime/manga and i'm curious about it. i don't care if there's BL in it or not. if they manage to win me as characters, then ill probably cheer them on. but that's not because they are boys, but because of themselves. what i hate is when yaoi fangirls or fanboys turn every anime into an yaoi feast. i mean, naruto? where, how??? (at least for this one canon is out there to shut them up) fairy tail? bleach? knb??? WTF? they do it with ANY and EVERY anime. I mean, they do with BTOOOM (if you watched it, you will get my drift of how impossible that is). so what annoys me the most? three things: ◘ how they - usually girls - rule female characters out. i don't get it. i'm not one to bring feminism out in a discussion, but i can't not do it here. either they (readers) are so insecure that once they like a male character they feel jealous of in-story female characters (which is a V E R Y disturbing notion, in my opinion) or... well, or they use anime to get horny, to be blunt. I don't see another reason. ooor because THEY have never been with a guy or don't want to be faced with this scenario (society pressures and all) they prefer to take refuge in yaoi. Psychology explains this. ◘ how the effeminate characters. yaoi can be either dominant x submissive or some very aggressive relationship. | I have way too many reasons to list here. I'll just pick my biggest issue with Yaoi, and list that one in great detail. The fandom/rabid fangirls themselves are the biggest issue with yaoi. Not the yaoi itself although that has quite a lot of issues that make it easy to hate. The fans behind it are the worst thing by far. They are so obsessive over it. They feel the need to spam it's existence, and try to convert people as if it was a religion but it make's them look diseased because they are acting rabid over it. For example - As you can see in any open anti-yaoi group including this one there are yaoi fangirls who actually seek out anti-groups to leave comments on in the main part of the page. Insults, or attempts at a witty statement but fall short by a mile of any real commentary that has any meaning. They have no business here but they are that obsessed over Yaoi that they come to a place that isn't for them, and go full rabid Fujoshi in defense of what they are obsessed over. That kind of personality is why they somehow justify in their own minds that it's okay to spam explicit yaoi pictures on sites where young children also browse (I remember this happened back in Gaia-Online when that site was popular). The worst part is probably the OTP tantrums. If a show/anime or person denounces their OTP with canon, or logic that disprove their OTP it's like starting a war... A war with a rabid human who pairs together any, and all males regardless of logic, family relation, age difference, etc. I didn't hate Yaoi at one point in my life; When I was younger I was indifferent to it. I was okay with watching it as sub-plot/not the main focus of the series but ever since I met individuals from the fandom of it, and the rabid insanity they carry... The crap I got put through because of people like them (That's another story for another time). I can't respect the fandom from it, nor the genre they infected. I want nothing to do with Yaoi because of the rabid Fujoshi. |
| I dont hate yaoi but i just wish the fan girls would stay in their genre,they ship everything no matter what show it is or whats going on in the show at the moment all they write on the discussion page is i ship this and that its so annoying.For example like the show Nanbaka around ep 8 something major happen to the mc and his friend stood up for him a true bromance moment thats all but on the forum the majority of post is i so ship them they are the best couple lets just ignore the fact the the friend loves women,or the fact that men can be bros no everybody in the whole anime word is gay in fact everybody in the whole world is gay and there is no such things as friendship.I wish we could have a site to keep them out,where u could discuss a show without them injecting they gayness into everything.they make me so mad that i wish i could tell them to go f @@@ themselfs |
