Soul Eater
| Sorry but I have to ask: what exactly is the point of the character of Excalibur? Admittedly I am only 19 episodes into this great series but the two episodes this odd (frankly irritating) and seemingly incongruous chap has appeared in have been the weakest of the lot so far. The second one (ep 17) was arguably worthless and a waste of an episode for my liking. It's not that I am against comedy because Soul Eater is a very funny show but anything involving this character is the exact opposite in my opinion. So, for those of you further into the series or maybe you have read the Manga, does anything worthwhile happen involving Excalibur or is he simply there as some kind of filler act? |
| Well other than pawning the 3 strongest students in Shibusen with no effort at all. I would say no. excalibur is a hate it or love it kinda thing. Baka you have no right to speak~ Hai Excalibur-sama! |

| I was dl-ing a batch and realize that 17 is missing. continued with the watching. 16,18,19 and so on. it was weird as nothing missing in my opinion. then i realized that the whole 17 was for Excalibur. eh. he is good as weapon but bad as a person. baka all the time and cant decide which was he was having a great afternoon tea. pain in the bum sometimes. |
| Excalibur is a great character, because he's all part of the balance of the show. The thing about Soul Eater is that it can be both funny and serious at the same time. So they can have these high-tension episodes were battle rages on, or tension-diffusing ones dedicated to a smart-mouth sword. |

I guess you are right. he is somewhat disturb for me, but as you said, balance is essential. nice way to put it ^.^ |

| I don't quite remember if they say it in the anime but Excalibur was one of Shinigami original men along with Asura. So while he is mainly used for Filler reasons he is somewhat important. |
| Excalibur is only useful for his legendary "Fool!" line and his wondrous song "Excalibur! Excalibur! From the United King, I'm looking for him, I'm going to California. Excalibur, Excalibur, EXCALIBUR!" So yeah. |

| Excalibur is obviously used as comedic relief... Epic fail though but whatever. The "BAKAME" is still legendary though xD |

| Like most humor Excalibur is extremely subjective. Some find him hilarious others incredibly irritating |
