I'm pretty sure I saw it directly confirmed on the TV Tokyo web page for Skip Beat!, but I can't find that page anymore >_< |

| Honestly, I don't care if they make a second season. I'll watch it if they do, but it's give or take, meh. The first season was really unimpressive in my opinion. Now, I've been reading the manga so my opinion is completely biased but the anime seemed ridiculously rushed and haphazardly thrown together. If a second season is produced carrying same quality as the first, I'd rather they just leave it buried. I mean, you have to admit, it could have been done way better than it was. |

Seems like HAL Film Maker merged with another animation company, namely Yumeta, to Tyo Animations. Positive is that they probably will have a bigger budget. The directors of HAL and Yumeta will also be the new directors of Tyo Animations. And this is where the problem lies, I think. It's also stated that HAL Film Maker produced Skip Beat! without the director of HAL. So, this might be the possibility why there won't be a second season, because of (t)his management/recent merger..? |

| the 2nd season will be next year if not, there will never be a next season. (like claymore, black lagoon & air gear, still waiting!) it all depends if the audience in japan have not lost their interest in the manga. two years of wait is just too much so an airing in 2010 is sure. or if there are no economic recovery in japan, we could get ourselves an OVA instead of a proper season! because a OVA is less expensive! (like school rumble, XXX Holic & seto no hanayome.) chances for a 2nd season are 50% in 2010, 20% after 2010, 20% we get an OVA, 9% never!!! & 1% you die before it's out. |

| Well, if you read on ANN, whenever they post articles about the top rated manga's over in Japan, Skip Beat is always towards the top which keeps it looking hopeful for another season. I personally hope that they'll at least put our minds at ease and say there will be one for sure eventually but they just love to watch us squirm. -__- I agree with Dinamet, InuYasha took 5 years before they finally decided to finish the anime (thank god) so I'm thinking there will be one eventually. This is my 3rd fav anime so I'm really hoping the finish it. The manga's getting to the good part too! |

| Too many people are worried lol. Yeah. I would love to see a second season too. i was returned with my wait after 7 long years through Hajime no Ippo (ended 2002, season 2 aired this year) and Inu Yasha being picked after 5 long years too. So I will be hoping for a second season of Skip Beat! regardless. If they don't, too bad. I wont be able to know what happens until the end, because I might not ever read the manga. :/ |

| I don't know but I gotta agree that there needs to be another season... first you have the obvious message at the end of season1 but you also hear sho say: "Two can play that game" or something like that... So it's sure that he's up to something... It would be stupid to give hints and not continue... of course it wouldn't be the first time they do that -_-" grtz |
