| I was wondering if i shud start whit UN-GO episode:0 or whit the UN-GO series and then watch episode 0 can u please tell me how they should be watched? because i see that the movies aired between the start date and the end date of the UN-GO series and i don't know wich to start first. |

| I watched like half of the TV series first then the movie then the rest of the TV series. I would recommend you watch the movie first as it is a prequel. Though I can't say I remember much, I don't think the movie introduces the characters so you'll be watching blind. Maybe watch Ep 1, the movie, then continue with the TV series? Regardless, the movie is important because they never explain what happens in it in the TV series. The only reason I found out about it is the anime used some flash backs from the movie that I didn't remember seeing in the TV series. |

| I watched it after episode 6, it was good to understand what happened in episode 7. But you can also watch it after the series since at the end (after credits) he explain his history to . It dont really matter when will you watch as long its not before. |

| Personally I'm a little sick of the "harp on mystery then make prequel" structure so I preferred to just start the story at the beginning. |
| As someone who watched the prequel first I recommend the order given by those above : Ep 1-6 --> Ep 0 --> Ep 7-11 The prequel jumps right into the story and does not explain who the characters are or what's going on. Watching the first few episodes will give you good handle on the characters and the setting and will make the prequel a much more satisfying watch. |
| After rewatching it I prefer starting with 0 since the backstory is helpful so for me it's not a big deal that there's spoilers in 0 but some people might prefer a more unknown approach |
| I know it's an old thread but I'm fine with @MiMiXSheShe. the best order to see Un-Go is to see the 0 first and then the series, it is better understood that way. PS: yesterday I finished the anime and boy was the plot very good and interesting. 8/10 (if they had MAL decimals, put 8.5) |
