| For the last couple of days I have not been able to access MAL at all. I get the whole "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to myanimelist.net" thing. So with that in mind I decided to check and see if other people were having the problem, and, no, no they are not. Which means it is just me. Ive tried plenty of things, deleting all my browser history deleting cookies etc, switching to my laptop, I still cant connect. So then I reset my router, nothing. And then I went to the effort of forcing my router to change ip adresses, I did this twice, that also didnt work. So then I looked at some of the cached forums to see if there was any help to be found there. Apparently the best thing was to tracert to website. So I did that and found I lost connection at 72.172.64.46, which as far as I am aware is some kind of blacklist server? Why would I be blacklisted? I only use the site to track my own list, I don't normally use the forums or post. Regardless of that im going to say that I am in the uk, and with sky. If that narrows down the issue. I need to regain access ASAP so any help would be great. I am also using a proxy to access the site right now. Its nothing to do with my account, just... I haven't got a clue. I might not be able to access this particular thread for a while, however my ip is removed, I think, also with the tracert I think it might be routed through removed. I trust if some of this info is bad for me to have posted, someone will take care of it >_> but yeah, please if theres any kind of whitelist, I really cant be without the website like this. | Hello, I have been experiencing a problem for several days now when trying to go on MAL. It gives me this message "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to myanimelist.net" and the usual Chrome error page. I am on this site from a proxy server but it's a bit annoying since logging in took about 30 tries or so. Is there anyway to fix this and is my IP address banned or something? |

| You guys should try do a trace route and see where its being stopped in the line to connect to mal. Open CMD and type: tracert myanimelist.net then post a screenshot and I'll have a look to see whats wrong. As a comparison here's mind. (Im in NZ with No problems)  It may just be very well that its being blacklisted by your isp as the UK just had a Porno block law that came into place telling isp's to block access to porn so in that term it may have of blocked MAL for listing Hentai. (I don't know, Just guessing) |

| Huzzah! Its seems to be working today. This is the first time I've been able to connect in weeks. Now, just so you know, I have been in contact with Crave giving them information that they request, to work out which parts of their network were a problem. Anyway this is what they said. We have traced things down, and we appear to be having some troubles with Sky, which may be what’s causing your issue here. Members of our network team are working to fix that now. I’ll let you know when we think it’s fixed; it will be very helpful for us to know if this has removed your issues. Following that there was a lot of back and forth requesting pings and traces, and its been a few days since the last email, but I think it is finally fixed, at least for me. They haven't emailed me to say its fixed however. There were some odd things going on apparently, they were stumped. |

| ACTUALLY I contacted them today to say it was working, their response was they hadn't done anything. >_< Suspicion is it is something on Sky's end. Hopefully its sorted out though. |

| I have this problem as well and haven't been able to access mal for several weeks now from my isp..I did send a pm to kineta a few days ago. |

| I guess I just have to wait it out. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon. Not that much of a bother to use a proxy for MAL I suppose |
| For Sky users, type in your URL bar this: 192.168.0.1 It will open your router settings page. On the top of that page you'll have several tabs. Click on maintenance. If prompted to enter an username and a password, enter the following credentials: Username: admin Password: sky Now, make sure you are on "Router Status". At the bottom of this page, click on "SKY TEST". Wait until the test ends. You should now have a new IP address. I found difficulties accessing MAL with IP ranges starting with 5. After doing the test several times, my new IP starts with 176, which seems to work perfectly with MAL. I suppose MAL banned several IP ranges belonging to SKY. |

| I've verified the issue with another user, and forwarded a mail on requesting that the 151.224.0.0/13 range be cleared at Crave's firewall. I'm not sure how long it will take, but hopefully they'll clear up some of the blocks. |
