Love Live! School Idol Festival (mobile game)

Talk about the Love Live! rhythm game here, available for free on the Japanese iTunes store. Also available on Android.

Yeah, it's crazily addictive. I just spent another 50 loveca stones yesterday... and I got all Rs. Sigh.

was finally able to upgrade my main (Honoka) to 4 stars ^^ using the 5 lovecas was well worth it ^^
*barely able to get C's in hard mode even if all cards are R's* haha =p
i play all songs, though mostly 僕らのLIVE 君とのLIFE, 夏色えがおで1、2、Jump！ and snow halation
also もぎゅっと“love”で接近中！ and 愛してるばんざーい！

i wonder what the 'smile', 'pure' and 'cool' stats do in the game... =p

Oh, well every song is categorised as either 'smile' (red), 'pure' (green) or 'cool' (blue). If you're trying to get a high score, you'd try and use a unit which gives the highest stat corresponding to the song's type. You can auto-generate units that give the highest stats of a certain type using the characters you have (部員＞ユニット編成＞自動編成）

Also, when choosing a guest for your song, the rarer their character, the more of a boost they give to their corresponding type.

Haha yeah. Although, at first it's pretty hard to get high scores (almost impossible to get an S rank), on 'hard' songs especially, even if you auto-generate units. The later songs require a total stat of 30000 - 40000 (just an estimate) to get an S. Use UR guests (they have a striped border) whenever you see one, if they are the same colour as the song. They give a huge boost (except for certain promo cards). And friend request them afterwards. If you become friends with someone, they'll always appear in the guest list before a song.

I have an Android phone which is not powerful enough for this game.
So I need to wait - In hope the PS Vita port of this game will come as soon as possible.

Hm, well I had a look around, and it seems like the PS Vita Love Live! game isn't actually a port of Love Live! School Idol Festival. It's being made by a different developer. I might have to get a PS Vita just for this...

Yeah, but a few of my friends helped out too. We welcome any suggestions or criticisms about the wiki, just inform us and we'll try our best to improve it.

maybe add a lists with the songs available in the game?
then again, it might be a major spoiler for those who just started the game, i dont know...

The lists of the songs in the game are in the "Live Stages" link in the sidebar. Also, you can see the song names on the sidebar, including both the main songs and the event songs.

HNNNNG I want Niko and Maki so bad.......... But I only got Eri and Honoka for now. Better than nothing though. I don't know where this gacha misfortune comes from, it's always like this for like every cards games I played.

Actually she spent about 70, which she stocked up from before. First time she did the 50 loveca stone draw and got UR Nico, then as she got a few more stones she drew 5 each until she hit Maki. She also didn't spend a dime, all the loveca stones were stocked up from stories, events, etc.

Omg so lucky. I've probably spent at least 250 and I have one UR. And I didn't even get it from spending loveca. I got it from getting a free draw as an event reward.

What kind of difficulties? I use android so I can help you out.

EDIT: Sorry, I misread. I think they just opened it up as region free recently, so you should be able to find it on google play. Requires 4.0 or higher version of android.

I have found it (via the japanese website of KLab). BUT It sais it not compatible with none of my phones. Could it be because I live in The Netherlands?

I think region has nothing to do with it, but I could be wrong. What version of android are you using? If you are region locked and you have a version of android 4.0 and above, you can do two things:


- you should look for the Love Live apk file and install it manually, or

- use VPN to make google play think you're from japan, then download it that way.

Of the options, the 2nd one is better because you'll still get automatic updates, whereas if you install the apk manually you'll have to reinstall the app each time which can be a pain.

My android version is 4.2 I believe Got a HTC One S from the first generation.
I may try it with a vpn.

EDIT: btw after you finish downloading the app from the play store you probably want to disconnect from vpn, because upon launching the app it will start downloading content and updates, which can be quite large... you want to make sure you're on your native, stable connection for this.

Someone, please tell me how to logout & login with an already existed acc ;^;
I played with mom's ipad and now i have my own android so i've installed Love Live in it.

But when i finished all the downloads i couldn't find any way to login so i created a new acc which i thought if i insert the same username it will logged me in to the acc :(

I do noticed that there was an option which it asked some sort of password, i tried the long number thing and it was incorrect, so i tried my own password & it's also wrong.

Please help !
