because the manga is better, no need for some crap that doesn't even follow it and keeps butchering the characters

Because the Anime was getting way too near the manga. It's kind of the publishers fault for animating it so early before the manga got so far. For me, I haven't read the manga yet(probably never will) and I see no problems with it. Don't read the manga and you'll enjoy the anime more. Read the manga and watch the anime I guess its safe to say your in for some disappointment(or so I've read).

If you read it you'll find "According to Mainichi, the episode 10 of Beelzebub was aired on March 27th." meaning that it was episode 10 that they had delayed becuase of the Tsunami. The anime ended at episode 60, so it's unrelated. It's probably what we've been talking about which is getting too close to the manga.

What would you prefer? ending the series or destroying the ratings and going into a season of filler.

I'm not an expert on how they decide when to "end" an Anime but when most of the content from the manga ends up being used don't they just go on hiatus (especially with shounen manga like this)? Though you could call this a hiatus since the ending kinda opens it up to essentially continue the series after more content from the manga is produced. Well ... hopefully at least.

If it was selling well, I'm surprised they haven't resumed it with another season with how faithful it is to the manga. It could easily (no brainer) continue from where it left off exactly like the manga.
