This one is titled Inazuma no Shou.

I don't understand why Wakana wouldn't accept his hand in marriage. Apparently it was because she thought she didn't deserve a man like him, but that was just selfish imo. She dumped him after he told her how he abandoned everything for her. I'm sad not for the heroine this time (she actually turned out really good, leaving the prostitution industry and living with her son) but for the main guy.

He also seemed to notice that Wakana was part of the crowd bowing to him. But what gets to me is the last page.

"Wakana, is she happy? If she's happy then it's good. If it wasn't so, I can, at anytime..."

He probably meant that if she wasn't happy, that would probably be his chance to strike once more. Though I can't seem to tell if Wakana wants to be with this guy or not...

Out of the four, this is the second happiest short story imo. Everyone wins this time, but it could've gone a lot better.
