Personally I like the songs in the second oST the most, specially those sung by Tomoyo Sato. The ballad "For Now a Friend" is awesome and "Riding Your Valkyrie" is tons of fun. Now my list of favorite Macross songs by series: - SDF Macross Macross Ai Wa Nagareru Milia's Lullaby (love it. Eri Kaneda, Milia's Seiyu does a great job in this song) -Macross DYRL Guess! The ultimate Macross song. -Macross II The 2 i named above -Macross Plus Voices (maybe, just maybe my favorite Macross song ever) Myung Theme (Cello version- AMAAZZING) Wanna Be Angel (Akino Arai is marvellous) -Macross 7 My Soul For You (Basara singing this to Sivil is sooo good) Submarine Street Angel Voice (Yoshiki Fukuyama belting it out at the end) -Macross Zero Arkan (beautiful stuff. | I have many favorites, but mostly from the series I have watched (SDF, Frontier and Delta). 7 and II seem to have lots of fans as well and that's fantastic. Well, let's see my favorites: SDF Macross: Ai, Oboete Imasuka? - Ijima Mari (absolute favorite) Watashi no Kare wa Pilot (close runner-up) Macross Frontier (this is the hardest because F is my favorite season and I've listened to all songs endlessly, loving so many of them): Shinkuu no Diamond Crevasse (#1 for me) Lion (runner-up) Obelisk (from+for the first move) Houkago Overflow (from+for the second movie) Macross Delta: Giraffe Blues (it's so beautiful and it made me cry the first time I heard it) AXIA ~Daisuki de Daikirai~ (MESSER T-T) That's all, folks. |
