| Mika is the sole altruistic member of a crew with much more pragmatic and utilitarian mentalities, no wonder she continuously takes issue with them. Context may come to vindicate Hiroto of his alleged killing of Mika's friend, as he does seem to be sterilised of his impulses by the ubiquitous genetic engineering that characterises this series. |
