Durarara!! (light novel)
| Here check my list http://myanimelist.net/animelist/thepath Do you recommend Durarara or Baccano for me ? keep in mind that I don't like episodic anime like Black Lagoon. I prefer ongoing plot. |
| I think baccano have three different stories with a lot of characters but in the end they connect with other i personally don't find baccano interesting at all. As for durarara it may seem boring at first but it pick ups it is an ongoing plot with nice little twist here and there with a set of likeable characters so i recommend you give it a try and watch it. |

| Both have huge similarities in style, but also there are some differences as well: Baccano! has some gore and blood occasionally, also presentation is pretty chaotic, it's a puzzle you have to add together in the end, so all it's parts are pretty much blended together. Durarara! deals with mostly younger cast, there is no gore and presentation is more on a classic side. There are three big arcs unfolding one after the other, also there are some loose plot threads left in the end, the show needs a second season. After checking up your list I should say maybe it's better for you not to start any of those at all. Baccano! and Durarara! are amongst my all-time favourite shows and it looks like other my all-time favourites ended up in a drop category for you... |
