I didn't suggest it because I hated it with a passion. I had to drop it after 5 episodes, and I can usually watch pretty much anything when I'm just half-watching it while doing something else. I am a HUGE fan of Arthurian legend, and I'm totally fine when people re-interpret it, but Tears to Tiara was just an abomination. THE ELVES DIDN'T HAVE POINTY EARS AND THEY WORE MAID OUTFITS. I don't even... I think that was about when I said "Oh screw this" and turned it off. Seconding Utawarerumono and Tsubasa, although Utawarerumono doesn't have magic as I recall. SAO has no magic, not in the first half. I'll second Legend of the Legendary Heroes. I'm watching it now- It's not phenomenal by any stretch, but it's entertaining and there was some effort put into the visuals. |
