I must be scared of something, but, I can't think of anything right now.

Ok nuclear war, that does tend to worry me. But I have lived through fear of it, and worn a uniform during part of the colder portion of the cold war. I have good reason to be scared of it.

I used to have a fear of automatic toilets, just in case they somehow could flush me down. That persisted til middle to high school. Now I just don't like being in large empty public restrooms, like someone will run in and kill me. I always bolt out of them.

I guess so. Most dogs are psycho deep down - it's just waiting for the the right time to attack.

All Caucasian women?

Centipedes are a totally rational fear! They can be poisonous! Though even the house centipedes are gross enough without being posonous.

I have no memory of if I have a fear of leeches if I see them in person. The one time I did see them (doctor put them on me, long story) it was traumatic enough for me to actually forget it. But I guess the possibility is there that they may scare me if I see one up close.

LOL. What's unusual about your fear of black people is that black people should be scared of you, considering the fact that you're probably a race that engaged in slave trading. Do people know you're scared of black people?

My sister was holding the can up against herself because she wasn't strong enough to just hold it with her hands and twist it. It pops and hits her in the stomach and she starts crying, it was hilarious.

lol the people of page 1.

Firstly, how is fear of dogs "unusual"? Lots of people have an irrational fear of them. Some are afraid of all dogs, and that's an actual phobia called Cynophobia; others are only scared of large dogs, and that's due to the misinformation and panic spread by the media.

Negative-Travis said:
gigglingidiot said:
Most times when I tell people that I'm scared of dogs they just go on a rant of how "sweet" their dog is and try to introduce me to their damn dogs.
If anything, I'd just be an asshole and bring my dog around you as often as possible.
I might even buy a pitbull/boxer/doberman/rottweiler/etc. just for that.
...and people with such a brilliant attitude surely don't help making others more educated about dog behaviour.

Yeah, same with children. I'm surprised that the parents are so calm when taking them at the park, I mean they're fucking annoying, if they start chasing strangers or something...

Xentrix- said:
Oh how I hate that, especially when I have to pass a huge park/field favored by dog walkers often. I mean you may never know when a dog might lose it, be it small or big
I know right? Those abnormal people walking their crazy dogs at the public park, how could they? Who knows when a perfectly domesticated dog accompanied with the owner might lose its mind and start biting every person at the park.
Quick, if you see a dog, any dog, turn your back and start to run fast! That's the easiest way to encourage any animal to chase you.

I hope you two realize the astonishing nonsense of your comments.
I work at a shelter, with Rottweilers, Pitbulls, and various large dogs including some that were previously labeled as "dangerous", and not once I have been bitten, attacked, or growled at.
Ignorance is much more dangerous than mere dogs, trust me.

Nonyflah said:
I'm more worried about the little dogs. Ill-tempered inbred monsters, them.
Also, this. The only dogs who either bark all the time, want to start a fight with my dog, or are trouble-makers at the shelter, are the small ones. Always them. Awful genetics and attitude.

Having an aneurysm. If I ever feel a sudden shock or pain, especially in my head or stomach, I get a bit scared. I actually am scared of dying suddenly for any medical reason, I think about having a stroke, heart attack, appendicitis, pulmonary embolism, or a million other rarer things way too often.

Also think it plays a big part in me feeling worried all the time if I'm in a place/situation where I can't call 911, even though I ironically enough hate most people in the medical profession, and don't trust ANY of them with near anything.

Also I get uneasy about living in a house with a gun, because even though I'm not suicidal and don't want to die, I don't like knowing that I could kill myself with the simple pull of a trigger. I don't think I would ever kill myself out of sadness or a fucked up life, but maybe just the destrudo effect. Which is basically like when you're driving and think. "I could swerve off the road into that pole if I wanted, I don't want to die, but so what anyway".

Sounds more like a general fear of suddenly dying, to me. (Completely understandable, by the way.)

Well none of those medical issues I mentioned are sudden or painless. You can live through everyone of them I mentioned even. They're sudden as in, they appear at of no where and can kill you in a very short amount of time.

Honestly, I don't think shooting yourself in the head is painless or instant either, especially if you don't get it right.
