How about you use your brain? MAL is one of the few sites that has an integrated system to rate subtitles (conveniently displayed on the profile of each anime). Look at it and you'll notice that AnimeSenshi is in the lead.
Ironically, this system concerning the one illegal aspect of the industry is also the only on MAL I would care for as reviews and ratings are way too subjective on here for the most part.

If you're going to tell me with a straight face that those ratings are still reliable after people shat all over them with "Commie", "Doki", and "illegal", then I'm going to ignore you now and hope somebody helpful replies to this topic. (Surprisingly enough, the name of a sub group is NOT a reason to downvote it. Nor do I care how slow a group is, once the series has finished airing.)

What are you talking about? I just recommended you the best Fansub group. And MAL ratings for subgroups are accurate in a sense that most people who "shat on Commie" actually downvote these bad sub groups instead of rating an "ok" show a 10 like most people on MAL do when it comes to anime - I clearly differenciated between subgroup ratings and anime rating in my post before. They're also downvoted because they are named Commie or Doki, they're downvoted because their "translations" (or in the case of Commie, edits from HorribleSubs) are plain bad. And yes, most fansubs are illegal if you can buy the original series in your country. What else do you want?

It seems like with the abundace of information and devices to accurately search for them the ability of most people to actually assess these information is decreasing drastically (just look at the people who are desperate once Wikipedia or Google is down for a few hours). Ironically, this self-imposed nonage was also satirized in Jinrui's first episode. But I digress.

Commie/Asenshi > Doki. And no, MAL fansub ratings are not reliable at all.

The quota is far better than anything else on this site. That is a big improvement if you ask me.
