I don't want much TV but the best show ever, with no peers, is MR. BEAN. You will not live a complete life unless you watch it. Trust me.

(Only listing series, so not more casual stuff that everyone has seen like Family Guy, South Park, etc..)

Spartacus - Spartacus is great... I love it

The Walking Dead - 1st season was really good, 2nd season kind of boring, but 3rd season will more than likely be very good.

I don't really watch much TV at all. Did I mention Spartacus is great? Highly recommended.

-mentalist
-breaking bad
-kenny vs. spenny (when it aired)
-dragons den (on and off)

-heroes (dropped it but watched most of it)
-deadliest warrior

Cartoons

I recommend giving the original NCIS a try. I have seen all 9 seasons and I absolutely love the series. NCIS has the police work, comedy, drama, and action. NCIS: LA is not as good as the original. As far as CSI goes…I lost interest in all 3 of the series. Miami was the one that I enjoyed more though.

Besides popular children's cartoons, here're some shows I like:

Beavis & Butthead
Too Cute (Both Puppies and Kittens)
Wipeout
Worlds Dumbest...
Masterchef
1000 Ways to Die (I wouldn't recommend this since this has a lot, and I mean a LOT, of blood, but if you're used to this much blood, then go ahead and watch it.)
Simpsons
South Park
The PJ's (Seriously, this is one of the most underrated shows ever!)
Most Shocking (I'm not too crazy about this one, but it has those, well, shocking moments. XD)
So You Think You Can Dance? (Didn't exactly start watching it until the latest season. Don't know why, exactly. :P)
How It's Made
Impractical Jokers (This is recommended! It's my most favorite reality show ever! It's so funny! LMAO!)
Fear Factor

I may add some more since I'm sure I'm forgetting some shows that I also watch. :P

"Do you watch any TV shows"? I only watch tv series and movies nowadays.

Only listing those I am currently following. Obviously, I would recommend them all. They are worthwhile, no matter what genre you are into.

- Dark Blue: Superb police story, episodic and mature, simply brilliant in every aspect. Status: cancelled. Fuck you, TV.
- Dexter: Murder, police and justice. *cough*DeathNote*cough* Not all the seasons are that great, but it is a must watch nevertheless.
- True Blood: Sex, gore and country music. Immensely entertaining, for the most part.
- Homeland: Very serious and psychological show focusing on CIA, terrorists, and the like. Different from everything else.
- American Horror Story: Messed up and painfully addictive, aside from the shitty finale. Watch it if you are a horror fan.

Right now, I am also rewatching The OC & Futurama, respectively the greatest teenage series ever made & the best American cartoon on Earth.

I don't watch TV all too much, Norwegian cable is shite. But, if I do watch anything, it's these:

1. Glee- Yes, I know. I know. It's something that puts me in a good mood, although one of the main characters, Rachel, makes me want to invent a plate gun, so I can shoot it from under her chin and scrape all of her face off with the impact of the plate.

2. BBC Sherlock- One of the best shows there is, like, for real.

3. Doctor Who- Grew up with it since the 9th doctor, still remains to be one of my favourite TV shows ever.

4. Grey(*Gray?)'s Anatomy- A great medical show.

5. House- Gets repetetive, but brilliant nonetheless.

6. Adventure Time- It's a kiddy show, but damn, it is funny.

Happy watching!

In my opinion my absolute favorite tv show is Game of Thrones, be warned, it is a little graphic so some parents might not want their kids watching it, but I can tell you that if you do watch it you'll enjoy it.

I've recently gotten back into Justified. I'd nearly forgotten how good it is. I recommend that, Community, Downton Abbey, Misfits, Spartacus, and Parks and Recreation.

I've got a bunch more on my list that I do enjoy but those are some of my absolute favorites (minus Justified - I wish I hadn't put it off to the side). I keep switching from comedy to more serious, dramatic shows (and no matter how much I love those, I can't help but poke fun at some of them with a friend of mine because it's so typical).

I'll recommend only the ones I watched and really liked!

1) Supernatural ~ 7 great seasons so far. Each has it's own unique set of monsters, ghosts, and pure evil, without even stretching the plot too far. If you're into scary fantasy, you'll get hooked onto Supernatural. I think it's also fair to say my knowledge of monster types has been upgraded after watching this show xD

2) Masterchef ~ If you're into cooking and/or exciting challenges, this is a must-watch. It also helps you get an idea about various cooking types and ingredients. Cuisines too. Which is very helpful, especially if you love travelling.

3) Criminal Minds/ Castle ~ Both of these shows are equally good. Each episode has a new case (unless there's a previously unsolved case still pending) and somehow, the plot for each episode is always interesting. Both have very realistic characters. If you're into crime fiction, you can give these a try.

4) The Big Bang Theory/ New Girl/ Awkward ~ All three are dramatic comedies but are still centred around normal(?) lives, haha. Awkward focuses on a teenage girl and has very many Awkward moments. I haven't been able to watch any further than the first two episodes but I'd still recommend it. =)

Breaking Bad, awesome stuff. Ever since I started watching that show, I could never have the same opinion about Hal in Malcom in the Middle.

Also, if you're up for some 1st class British humour, then I warmly recommend watching the 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' series.
