Just like the title says.
I love Beth march she is Adorable.

Isn't she great she can turn off and on that Japanese crap like a annoying sister at a japanese restaurant.

The story is full of strong characters, and I even add side characters like Laurie, Mr. Lawrence and Anthony for example. Anthony was an extraordinary character I'd say. But my vote goes to Jo, I identify myself more with her common sense of things even though she was overly emotional at times, she deserved to be the star of the anime.

Jo. I watched the anime before reading the book and she was one of my childhood's role-models XD It made me sad though she didn't end up with Laurie; they made such a nice couple.

I read somewhere that the author was under a lot of pressure from fans to hook Jo up with Laurie, but she despite that stuck to her vision that she wanted Jo to be an author who made a living from her writing. Sad, but I still respect her and the Jo she had developed.

I have to second the vote for Jo. She's so spunky, energetic, and full of life. She's a bit of a tomboy but I don't hold that against her. Also, she's the same age as Asuka from Evangelion. I bet she and Asuka would be friends if they ever met.
