| Does gasoline explode when it was burn? coz after i watched True Tears i remember the one of the guy said "Gasoline doesn't explode when it burn, it's juz the movie show that it explode". I think he said that if I'm not wrong....but I'm still not sure if he was talking about the gasoline or not. |

| For most liquids like gasoline they just burn and pretty interesting enough the burning you see for gasoline is actually just the vapors. Just liquid gas does not burn, but it always has some amount of vapors. explosions are pretty much all of the time is caused by a closed system like a container with a really small opening or whatever and the instantoues pressure change causes the explosion aka bomb. Gas explosions are huge because in an instant all the liquid is turned to vapor and fueling the explosion into an uber explosion. Hope that helps |

| Basically they really cool thing to think about with chemistry is anything can be made into a bomb. You must be thinking hold on no way. My bottle of water I'm drinking could never be made into a bomb that could kill puppies, but yea your wrong. Any substance/matter given the right amount of energy can release that energy in a way that will hurt puppies. So lets say I pressurize your bottle of water to 1500psi and heat that baby up to 1500 Kalvin. Now you have a bomb that could take out a city block. Going back to your question, it depends on a lot of factors. Either way, don't hang around your bike after an accident and it is on fire. Or else puppies will die. |
