| Shõnen is manga/anime like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto etc. You should definitely watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, every time I hear the word "epic" this anime comes to mind. Has a LOT of awesome kick-ass action scenes. Simply over-the-top. |

| Most of the fights in the anime's listed so far are pretty meh, with the exception of shows like Brotherhood and Ben-to. Fate/Zero, Final Fantasy VII: Advent children, Broken Blade, Canaan, Darker than Black, Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu would be some good ones to start off with and have great action. |
| Beelzebub for sure that anime is the definition of epic, it's hilarious and has great fights ;] Also a manga could be Yanki-kun to Megane-chan (Think thats how it's spelled) One of the greatest manga's ever in my opinion and still on-going. :/ |

| Afro Samurai has tons of action yet a very simple story line, still it's pretty awesome. |
