If Hollow Ataraxia is counted as well It'd be; Female: Karen, maiwaifu and the only actually interesting character of Fate in my opinion. Male: Shirou, only in Heavens Feel. And without Hollow Ataraxia; Female: Either Dark Sakura or Illya, can't decide on who. Male: Shirou, only in Heavens Feel. |

| Well will be taking the game into account this time with the favourite character as it would change them abit from just looking at the anime (havent playd Hollow Ataraxia yet so sadly cant comment on that yet, sorry Sobzob :S)... Fav Female: Ilya Fav Male: Must be Shirou, though Archer in the anime Anyway id like to add something to this talk, a question actually. Why is he/she your favourite male/female character? (personally i like to know which character but also the reason why they do, and in this paticular discussion if you are taking the game into account or only the anime, the other way around or if your taking both in, reasoning coul be spoiler heavy though)... As i am asking ill go first. Ilya, i personally have a weakness for girls with long white or silvery hair paired with a pair of red eyes, and i like her "children" like behavior... Shirou, again behavoir comes to mind, his wish to protect and help is in my appinion rather admirable even i think he is stupid at times... |
| Nice addition to the discussion, Soulbringer. My favorite characters are based on the anime, since I haven't played the games. Archer is my favorite F/SN male character because the Archer vs. Berserker fight is one of the best anime fights I've ever seen. I literally had to pick my jaw off from the floor after that scene. Friggin amazing. Gilgamesh isn't as popular as he deserves, imo. Honestly, when he first appeared, I found him quite annoying. He grew on me though ^^. Plus, you can't deny that he looks awesome here. As far as females go, I can't really explain why Rin's my favorite character, now that I think about it. I guess it's kinda like, she's cool, so just accept it, yeh know? Maybe has something to do with her being tsundere, and I also thought it was admirable when she sacrificed her servant for Shirou and helps him from there on out. And finally, I found Saber's manner quite charming. Always so polite, always looking out for Shirou. And her liking of the stuffed lion was kawaii. Oh and uh, she's voiced by Ayako Kawasumi! (*runs back into the corner*) |

| Hmm i played the game(only the fate route since its the only1 subbed atm) and its the exact same as the anime with some more details... Well i cant even get why ppl call this game... It should be called visual novel since u have no interaction with it unless some minor choises... anyway :) I like Saber cause... cant answer really.The fact is that im like Shirou.From the moment i saw her i kinda liked her :) Personality Reaction Looks... I liked everything...What regards Archer i loved him VS Berseker the fight was awesome and so was he... He clothing words moves was pretty imba everythin! |

| Mmm Rin would definitely have to be my favourite female. Cause she's a magician, that's really sweet behind her tough look. She's the one to summon Archer (which is my favourite male). And well, she looks good and is really smart as well. Archer is my favourite at first because of the "Archer vs Berserker" fight but also due his relation with Shiro *cough, can't spoil right*. And his relation to Rin. N also the way he just is lol |

And I have to say, my opinion have changed a bit since my last post in here. Not much, but anyways. If Hollow Ataraxia counts, Karen is still obviously my choice(But just now I took note on that the thread says "FSN", lol). But just going with Stay Night, Shirou would be the definite choice of male favorite. And that's all of the Shirou's. He may be retarded in the Fate route, but he's still awsome. Sakura is also still my favorite female, but not only Dark Sakura, I've taken more liking to her 'normal' self as well. Pretty much the only change is that Ilya isn't that much of a favorite anymore.. |
