| i mean, i only hear good reviews about this anime, it even have a cult-followers!!!! i think brigadoon is in pair with Evangelion, Madoka, Bokurano, etc it breaks my heart when a anime this good ranked #2672 in MAL.. :( |
| Well the first episode really is a bit over the top and hard to handle. I almost quit it because of that, (although I thank god I didn't quit it, it was amazing and I loved it) |
| mhh.. well, maybe because it's hard to categorize? is it directed at a male or female audience? a young or older audience? the animations says one thing, the plot another, the action a third thing .w.' it's generally a very serious anime, but character designs makes it look like it's made for a young audience, there's also a hard mix of serious and humorous things happening in the anime ^^' |

| Sometimes good shows just get lost in the shuffle, bad timing, poor advertising, ect. Brigadoon is a very strange show so I can see why it wouldn't gain mainstream success, but it's still incredibly underrated. |
| Good question, this anime is very similar to Made in Abyss and came before Made in Abyss. Ranked #2672??? Nowadays it is Ranked#3418. In ten years the anime fell further behind in the ranking. |
